Dus je bent in Belgrado geweest en je hebt geen idee waar je precies bent? U bent ook geïnteresseerd in de dagelijkse wereldpolitiek en wilt graag weten hoe we hier terecht zijn gekomen of waar het allemaal mis is gegaan? Welnu, daarvoor bent u aan het juiste adres. Sinds de tijd van Christus was Belgrado altijd een belangrijke buitenpost op de grens van twee beschavingen, tussen het oosten en het westen ... Kelten, Romeinen, Byzantijnen, Ottomanen, Oostenrijks - Hongaren, Duitsers, Russen ... ze vochten allemaal en stierf om de Witte stad (Beo-grad) te veroveren of te bevrijden en liet hier hun botten achter. Veel rijken kwamen hier in botsing en de wereldgeschiedenis werd gevormd op deze twee machtige rivieren, waar Belgrado vandaag trots staat als een Servische hoofdstad. Laten we de reis door de tijd maken, waar we de wereldpolitiek, geografie en geopolitiek en meer uitleggen die u over de Balkan wilde weten, maar u durfde het niet te vragen.

Een van de belangrijkste plekken in de stad en enkele van de meest interessante verhalen. Het verhaal van de twee dynastieën, twee koninklijke hoven en nog veel meer..
Gebouwd op een heuvelrug die de stad in twee delen scheidt, een natuurlijke keuze voor het belangrijkste voetgangersgebied en de hoofdstraat sinds de Romeinse tijd.
Skadarska-straat: voel de ware geest van Bohemen in deze oude en unieke wijk van het oude Belgrado.
Gelegen op een heuvel boven de samenvloeiing van twee machtige rivieren, heeft het fort Kalemegdan een rijke en gewelddadige geschiedenis. We zullen de promenade bezoeken van waar u kunt genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op de rivier de Sava en het Monument van Dankbaarheid naar Frankrijk. De laatste tijd bezoeken we een monumentaal Victor-standbeeld en een graf van Ottomaanse vizier Ali-Pasha.
Deze prachtige kerk werd gebouwd in de 15e eeuw, verwoest in de 16e en vervolgens herbouwd in de 19e zodat het een groot deel van de stadsgeschiedenis bewaakt.
Dit park is gebouwd in een academische wijk van Belgrado en is geliefd bij studenten die hier tussen de colleges doorbrengen en genieten van het groen van het stadscentrum.

Marija gave us a brilliant three hour tour of Belgrade that felt both relaxed and full of insight. This tour not only gives you an overview of the varied parts of old city center, but tells you how it came to be this way. T B, our guide, offered us in depth history of Serbia and its place in the Balkans, as well as the current day situation. A lot to absorb. Excellent tour.

I had a one on one history tour with Tibor and it was outstanding. As a political scientist, Tibor had deep knowledge of the history and politics of Belgrade and Serbia. He used the city’s many sites to explain the history and because I was the only guest I had a great opportunity to ask many questions. This walking tour is soooo good. All the different neighborhoods, the architecture, the fortress, and the view of the rivers at sunset👌🏼. Plus Pedja was one of the best guides I have had anywhere. His knowledge of the history and culture was so impressive, and he added lots of personal stories and random interesting facts along the way. Had a marvellous walking tour of Belgrade with an outstanding, guide, Pedja. His knowledge of Serbian history was excellent and he combined this skilfully with unexpected stops at seemingly ordinary points, which I had previously walked by without noticing. He was able to link each site with a critical point in Serbia's tumultuous history. It also meant I got to understand the layout of the old city. Pedja was also kind and very generous with his time. He has inspired me to read more about the history of this region, but, meanwhile, gave me a university semester course in 2 hours, including over a very good coffee.
