In de ochtend word je opgehaald bij je hotel om de spannende stadstour te beginnen. De eerste plaats om te bezoeken is het Overwinningsplein:
Het plein staat in het teken van de Tweede Wereldoorlog met de bijbehorende monumenten en eeuwig vuur. Onze gids vertelt je een korte geschiedenis van de oorlog en hoe deze Kirgizië beïnvloedde.
Kirgizische Nationale Opera en Ballet theater - een oud en prachtig gebouw dat de charmante Sovjet-architectuur laat zien. Vanaf hier ga je naar Oak Park om meer te weten te komen over enkele andere monumenten en om een kijkje te nemen in de chique kunstgalerie.
Het centrale plein van de stad waar de grootste vlaggenmast en de schildwachten staan. Maak een wandeling door de plaats en bekijk het historisch museum, het heldenmonument van Manas en het Witte Huis. Verken de charmante boulevard "Erkindik" of "Vrijheid" en het oude treinstation dat een goed voorbeeld is van de Sovjet-architectuur van het begin van de 20e eeuw.
Nog een prachtige plek om de fascinerende stijl van het burgemeesterskantoor, de Internationale Universiteit en de Philharmonie zelf vast te leggen.
De legendarische openluchtmarkt waar je je onderdompelt in de cultuur van het traditionele winkelen van de Kirgizische bevolking. Een perfecte plek om souvenirs, gedroogd fruit, nationale delicatessen en nog veel meer te kopen. Nou, dit is het einde van je mooie stadstour. Afzetten bij een hotel. Fijne avond!

I had a private tour to Ala-Archa National Park. My guide, Aki, was very friendly and gave me a great tour of the park - we visited the Sacred Heart and Waterfall from which the views are beautiful. Aki was excellent and very good at her job. I would highly recommend using Ventura Tours.

Bishkek is a hidden gem in Central Asia. The tour I did was a perfect way to see the highlights. My guide Madina was more than a tour guide. She was a perfect ambassador to introduce the key highlights of city. The city has a rich history which was perfectly explained and shown. Amazing tour organized very lateon the eve of the first day with Madina as young and extremely dynamic tour guide. Her English was better than ours, and discussions with her were very interesting and animated. She also helped us in Bishket take an opera ticket for Swan Lake as well as a bunch of other things. Great flexibility to adjust the initial planning to our taste and weather (she can call the sun so he shows uo also!). We ll definitely book other tours with her when we can back to Kirghizistan!

The guide/owner, Ash was great. We did the city tour at a leisurely pace, never being rushed. He explains context about the city landmarks or local history in a peace meal fashion, never fact dumping and always ready to get into deeper detail when a story resonates. It's like walking the city with a friend. We had a great time. Also, all logistics and communications were neat.

Great day with s top notch guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly and made every stop enjoyable. We were able to learn a lout about the history and culture of Bishkek and the surrounding areas. Very pleasant city and this exposure made us glad we decided to stay for a few days. Changing of the guard was a high point for us.

We had an excellent private tour with Boca who spoke excellent English. He was highly informative and we managed to fit in quite a lot in the 3 hours thanks to the fact that the car was always ready to go. We did the tour on our first day in Bishkek and it served as a very useful introduction to the city.
