Geniet van een ontspannende eendaagse tour naar St Andrews vanuit Edinburgh. Deze tour biedt een ontspannen reis, met voldoende vrije tijd om St Andrews te verkennen - Schotlands thuisbasis van golf. Ontdek de geplaveide straten, spectaculaire kathedraal en de vissersdorpjes van Fife.

We verlaten Edinburgh, steken de iconische Forth Bridge over en betreden het oude "Kingdom of Fife", passeren Aberdour voordat we verdergaan naar de East Neuk of Fife.
We stoppen in het stadje Anstruther, waar het Schotse Visserijmuseum is gevestigd, en reizen vervolgens door de dorpen Pittenweem, Crail en St. Monans. Dit waren ooit bloeiende visserijcentra die welvarend werden door de handel binnen het continent.
We komen op tijd voor de lunch aan in het prachtige middeleeuwse stadje St. Andrews. Hier kunt u genieten van een wandeling door de stad, waar Prins William Kate ontmoette, de thuisbasis van de oudste universiteit van Schotland, de beroemde kathedraal (optionele extra) en de golfbaan. Geniet van ongeveer drie uur vrije tijd om de middeleeuwse gebouwen en prachtige geplaveide straten in het centrum te verkennen en lunch en versnaperingen te nuttigen.
Op weg naar huis reizen we door de Lomond Hills naar Falkland voor een fotostop. Het dorp werd gebruikt als decor voor Inverness in de jaren 60 in de Outlander-serie.
Geniet van een fantastische fotostop bij South Queenferry, met een spectaculair uitzicht op de drie bruggen die de Forth overspannen.

We had Linda as our driver and she was amazing. We did St Andrews and the fishing villages. Left at 9am and got back at 5.45pm. We had Scottish music playing which was a lovely touch. Just the right amount of commentary and the places we stopped were beautiful. My hubbie is golf mad so I booked a golf lesson at St Andrews for a special birthday surprise and he thoroughly enjoyed it and seeing the course and loads of photos. I'd highly recommend this company for some great tours 👌😍. The weather was definitely on our side too ☀️☀️

This tour was very interesting going through the countryside of Scotland and stopping by small villages towards the wonderful town of St Andrews and our guide Marty was extremely funny and full of knowledge! Thank you !

This day in St. Andrews was great. Our driver/guide (Klarna?) was outstanding. She provided interesting commentary and music along the way, which made it even more enjoyable.
