We zijn een integraal onderdeel van de lokale muziekscene en brengen je in het hart van de traditionele muziekscene. We vinden het heerlijk om nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten en ze kennis te laten maken met de Ierse cultuur en de stad Dublin. We zijn diep gepassioneerd door het verhaal van Ierse muziek en de gedeelde ervaring van live traditionele Ierse muziek.

Traditionele Ierse muziek in zijn natuurlijke habitat - DE PUB! Ik ben een LOKALE MUZIKANT dus met mij als uw Gids ervaart u de echte DUBLIN TRADITIONELE MUZIEK scene. Ik neem je mee naar DRIE live muzieksessies in DRIE ECHTE DUBLIN MUSIC PUBS... waar je geniet van DRIE drankjes met NIEUWE VRIENDEN. Je leert de GESCHIEDENIS van onze muziek kennen - waardoor je een ECHTE CONNECTIE krijgt met Ierse muziek. We delen een GEWELDIGE AVOND vol PLEZIER, MUZIEK en LIEDJES. Je zult NIEUWE VRIENDEN MAKEN en gaandeweg leer je over en hoor je VERSCHILLENDE STIJLEN van Ierse muziek, de bespeelde INSTRUMENTEN... en je zult zelfs het verschil leren tussen een JIG en een REEL! U zult veel wandelen door de stad tussen pubs dus draag geschikte schoenen en kleding.

Small group, great vibes. No pub partying like at the tourist area pubs- just lots of traditional music and friendly conversation.
Skip this tour. Extremely crowded pubs, no dedicated seating, half pints of beer, lots of unnecessary talking by the guide on random streets (not in a pub), and musicians who threatened to stop playing the next time this tour group came into the pub. The music was good, but you’re having to stand or sit in very crowded areas with limited view or difficulty hearing. The guide is very friendly, but unhelpful in the pubs. He told us to “maneuver” our way to the front. The only way to have done this was to literally sit on a musicians lap and block the view of others already seated in the front row. Plus the guide disappears while you’re in each pub.
What a fun evening! Niall and David did an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome. They gave us a great snapshot of traditional Irish music from jigs, reels and other tunes. We made it to pubs, outside the touristy areas we probably would have missed otherwise. Their passion for music shows and they loved sharing it with the group.
This was a great way to see some good music and cool pubs. Níall and David were absolutely fabulous and extremely informative, knowledgeable and entertaining! Highly recommend this experience!
Fantastic experience! I’ll admit it - I was nervous about discovering live music as a solo traveler. Niall was a great guide and I came away confident - the music was amazing, I now know the etiquette, and I have some great venues to return to. So glad I booked this tour!
Ciaran was very knowledgable about traditional Irish music and he clearly has a passion for it. I learned a lot, and we went to "out of the way" pubs that were having sessions with trad music and instruments. It was different than I expected, but I enjoyed it. These were public spaces, not performances, which was very authentic. The only downside was it was a bit hard to see and hear at times. There is a lot of walking, so be prepared. We were blessed with nice weather!

Sean Smith is a great guide to traditional Irish music. He is a musician that is entertaining, enthusiastic and deeply knowledgeable about trad Irish music. You will have a wonderful evening in his company. Do not miss this experience.
Neil was great! He gave a nice review of Irish music history before starting out, just to give us some background info. We then set out for the pubs to hear some music. This was NOT a pub crawl, so don't book this if that's what you're looking for. Also, you'll want to eat ahead of time (or after) as there won't be time for food during the tour. Instead, this was trad music focused and lots of fun! (FYI, you do get a small drink at each of the 3 pubs, so you won't go thirsty!) We learned a lot about the music and pub culture (the really crowded places would've intimidated us first-timers and likely we would've otherwise missed out!) All in all this was a great experience and we highly recommend it!
