The Dazu rock carvings are absolutely worth visiting and exceeded all expectations - one of the most beautiful sites I've visited anywhere, and certainly the most historic and atmospheric we visited in China. Isa was an incredible and inspiring guide, but also fantastic company - we enjoyed our long conversations about contemporary China on the drive as much as the specific historical and cultural information she shared at the rock carvings site. Really recommend her and will get in touch again should we find ourselves in Chongqing.

My visit to the Dazu Rock Carvings ended up being one of the absolute highlights of my trip to China, and that was honestly thanks to our guide, Isa.
