Deze 6 tot 8 uur durende Dhofar bergsafari tour, neemt je mee naar een magische reis naar de oostelijke kant van Salalah, waar een van de beste landschappen van het Midden-Oosten op je wacht. Het kasteel Taqa is een van de meest vooraanstaande bezienswaardigheden van Dhofar, dat in de 19e eeuw werd gebouwd. Taqa Beach en Taqa stad komen ook aan bod in deze tour. Ook Koofan House en Burj Al Askar liggen in Taqa. De populairste vallei van de Dhofar Regio, Wadi Darbat zal uw belangrijkste stop zijn. Hier ziet u de seizoensgebonden waterval, een bron waar u kunt varen (kajakken / waterfiets / motorboot) met uitzicht op de berg van Jabal Qara serie. Bezoek Tawi Attair (vogelput) sinkhole. Jabal Samhan is het hoogste punt in Dhofar, dat boven de 4000 voet ligt. Vanaf hier is het uitzicht geweldig en als je geluk hebt, zie je bergen onder je passeren. Anti Gravity Point en Wadi Hanna (baobab bomen) ook bedekt in de hele dag safari. Bezoek Mirbat Sand Dunes aan het strand.

Hoewel Taqa bekend staat om zijn kasteel, heeft Taqa ook een geweldig strand en is het een geweldige plek om vogels te kijken. Het uitzicht op Taqa stad is geweldig vanaf het strand.
Dit is een oud huis, toegang binnen is optioneel als je wilt betalen. Van buitenaf is het ook goed. De plaats heeft ook een souvenirwinkel.
Taqa Castle is een van de meest vooraanstaande bezienswaardigheden van Dhofar, die werd gebouwd in de 19e eeuw. De muren zijn gebouwd van massieve blokken 'Taqa Stone', een lokaal kalksteenmateriaal dat voornamelijk bestaat uit gefossiliseerde schelpen en koralen. Je kunt de put zien, een dakloze gevangenis, een formele zithoek ook bekend als majlis, slaapkamers, keuken en winkels. In deze gebieden zie je traditionele wapens, sieraden, dagelijkse huishoudelijke artikelen en fascinerende traditionele kleurrijke kledingstukken.
Uitzicht van buitenaf
Hier ziet u de seizoensgebonden watervallen (als die er zijn op het moment van uw bezoek), een veer waar u kunt waterfietsen, kajakken en motorboot varen (varen op eigen kosten) met uitzicht op de berg van de Jabal Qara-serie. Een reis naar Salalah is niet compleet zonder een bezoek aan deze prachtige vallei en het is een van de meest bezochte plaats in de regio Dhofar. Je kunt van het ene punt van het dal naar het andere gaan wandelen.
Tawi Atair Sinkhole Oman is de beroemdste sinkhole in het gouvernement Dhofar (Dofar). Er is een tocht om naar de onderkant van de sinkhole te gaan, maar je moet fysiek fit zijn om naar beneden te gaan. De opwaartse tocht heeft een goede gezondheid nodig.
Jabal Samhan is het hoogste punt in het Dhofar-gebied, dat meer dan 4000 voet is. Vanaf hier is het uitzicht geweldig en als je geluk hebt, zie je bergen onder je door. Het is een perfecte plek voor een opname-timelapse en het maken van foto's van wolken erboven.

Wadi Hannah (ook wel wadi Hinna genoemd) heeft baobabbomen, een natuurlijke waterpoel en waterval van Ayn Hasheer.

Fantastic experience, spacious, modern, comfortable car. Oman is a beautiful country and our guide and driver, Mohamed Ali was first class. Wadi Darbat is a cool oasis of a place which even at this time of year is a wide river but not full enough for the latter falls to run..It was a great day out.

Complete experience exploring East Salalah with lots of amazing stops. Spectacular views, Taqar castle, camels, Wadi Darbat, baobab tree, anti-gravity point, the highest mountain, Mirbat beach etc. All well organised with nice & friendly Omani guys. It's a must see tour once you are in Salalah 🤩🙂

Nice day out. Dry season so Darbar not the place to visit. Guide, Osama was very good but spend a lot of time on his phone when driving us around.

This was a very interesting tour,where we had the opportunity to see many different local areas. Our guide Mohammid Ali was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and had brilliant English. He was a local man from Taqah, which we visited, and was able to share alot of information about local customs and history. He was first class. Our only complaint is that the tour was advertised as 6-8hours and it was much shorter. We had seen everything on the itinerary after 4 hours and our guide kindly offered to take us to an extra town, Mirbat, to ssee the fishing boats and market. We saw some beautiful scenery including mountains, beaches and historical landmarks and many camels.

Nice trip. Well organized. Unfortunately, the pictures of Wadi Darbat are deceiving. This is what it looks like only in July/August. Now more or less almost no green. Waterfall dried up. Our guide Mohammed Qahour very competent and very nice. Always responded to all questions and extra requests. All in all, a good excursion that brought us closer to Oman. Country and people very nice and accommodating. It won't be the last trip.
