Een DOOR to DOOR service en we maken gebruik van gekwalificeerde gidsen en de transfers zijn in comfortabele voertuigen met andere gasten. Deze dagsafari van Johannesburg naar het Big Five Pilanesberg National Park is de beste safari-optie van een dag om een big five nationaal park te ervaren. De dagtour omvat een vijf uur durende open safari voertuig game drive in het Pilanesberg Park bestuurd door een ervaren game ranger die in radiocontact staat met andere voertuigen waardoor goede wildwaarnemingen gegarandeerd zijn. Een open voertuig safari is iets wat iedereen moet doen terwijl je in Zuid-Afrika bent en deze safari ervaring is onbetaalbaar! Deze tour is ideaal als je op zakenreis bent en beperkte vrije tijd hebt of op een korte vakantie naar Zuid-Afrika. Pilanesberg ligt op slechts twee uur rijden van Johannesburg. Pilanesberg is de thuisbasis van de big five en vele andere dieren en biedt over het algemeen goede dierenwaarnemingen tijdens een kort bezoek.

Nadat we u hebben ontmoet in uw hotel of residentie in Johannesburg tussen 06u00 en 06u30 of op het tijdstip aangegeven door de consultant, rijden we u naar Pilanesberg. Bij aankomst in Pilanesberg en na een korte pauze ontmoet je je veldgids/game ranger en om 09.30 uur begint je spannende 5 uur durende safaritocht met 4x4 voertuigen. Onze gidsen zijn deskundig en zullen u diepgaande informatie geven over de dieren in het wild die u bekijkt. Je stopt bij een restaurant in het midden van Pilanesberg en geniet van een lichte lunch met uitzicht over een zeer actieve waterput. Na de lunch gaat de safari met open voertuigen verder terwijl de boswachter langzaam terugrijdt naar de poort om onderweg dieren te spotten. Onze gids zal je ontmoeten aan de poort en vertrekken vanaf de Pilanesberg tussen 15.30 en 16.00 uur om voor zonsondergang in Johannesburg aan te komen.

I did this tour with my husband and 5 other couples/friends and we had an AMAZING time!! Our guide, Buffalo Soldier, told us there would be a so/so chance of seeing animals because of the temps and wind, but it warmed up a bit so we saw plenty. Our guide was so knowledgeable and had great stories, he's been doing this almost 20 years. There was tons of elephant activity... we saw a small herd, babies, and a male in musth which was intense! We saw giraffes, hippos, a rhino, gazelles, wildebeests, kudus, a crocodile, and zebras! 🥰❤️ The lunch stop was so enjoyable. My friends and had had a sandwich and a few drinks while we watched the watering hole for more animals. We were able to see more elephants and kudus at the watering hole as they came by to get a drink and enjoy the salt block the staff put out. I worked with Susan for all of the planning and she was extremely helpful from start to finish. This excursion was such a perfect day 1 of our 10 day South Africa trip.

We had the best time on our Safari! Our driver to and from Pilanesberg was excellent. Everyone was so knowledgeable and our driver, Ben, tried his best to help us find all the animals we wanted to see. We saw almost everything but lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Even without that, it was so worth it and I would highly recommend this Safari.

Well worth the visit. We saw 4 of the big five (Leopards only really come out at night) and the park is stunning. Our guide, Desmond was 1st class, in fact he made the trip with his knowledge and humor and eagle eyes!

I was traveling together with my brother and Glen took us in our hotel perfectly on time. The ride to Pilensburg was very calm and nicely. Glen is an excellent host and was keeping a conversation with us the entire time. When arriving in the Safari, our ranger was already expecting us and took 2 minutes to start. He was a very funny guy and very patient explaining for us. It was an excellent experience. When arriving back to the main entrance of Pilensburg, Glen was already there and we went back to the hotel. It was an incredible experience. Everything worked as expected the both Susan and Glen were perfect. Hope to see you soon again!

I can’t fault this company when organising our safari. We had a baby travelling with us and they were so helpful in finding a safari that would accommodate him safely too. We travelled comfortably from Joberg to Pilanesberg and arrived to a fantastic lunch before heading off to see a lot of animals including most of the big 5. The guide was excellent and kept us informed with lots of facts all the way around. Definitely recommend booking with these guys.

We had an opportunity to visit pilanesberg on a day journey and the children saw Elephant, ,lion and buffalo out of the big 5. But a lot of monkeys and crocodiles. It's a place we love to visit again and again

What a great day! Stephen is an excellent driver , the park ranger too, the safari car was brand new and clean, we saw many animals including elephants, rhinos, pumbaa, giraffes, gnous, impalas, a rare buffalo, etc.

We had a fantastic day at Pilanesburg. Susan was very kind and accommodating to change our scheduled date due to illness on our part. Paddy drove us from our guesthouse in Parktown and was most interesting and informative. The journey to the Safari in itself was a great experience. The Safari park itself was beautiful. We encountered so many animals and it was fascinating to be so close to them in our jeep and to watch their behaviour. The driver was very good at explaining and showing us things but I can't remember her name. There were also baby elephants and rhino. The lunch was lovely and nicely prepared. Thank you for such a great trip!

SUCH AN INCREDIBLE DAY!!!!! I only had 36 hours in South Africa and I am so happy that i chose this specific tour. I was warmly greeted by my pick up driver Wiggy at my hotel promptly at 6:30am and was introduced to another person on the tour with me. Very friendly and knowledgable driver who made our journey very comfortable and go quickly. I can't begin to thank him enough for his hospitality. We arrived at the entrance to Pilonsburg Reserve and were then greeted by our fantastic tour guide Yolandi. She was so passionate about her job and really took her time to ensure that we were all okay throughout the day. Myself and the other people on the tour asked many questions and she always had a very detailed answer. We managed to spot 4/5 Big 5. Ranging from cheetahs, rhinos. elephants and a pack of lions- all of which were extremely close to us. There was plenty of time to see lots of animals and explore the reserve. We were dropped back at the gates where our driver Wiggy was there ready and waiting to take us back to our hotel. It was a truly memorable day and I am so happy that I experienced it.
