Kom en ontdek de Monte Brasil op de leukste manier en wandel over de paden in het midden van deze vulkaan die is geclassificeerd als bosreservaat! Hier gaan we op een elektrische fiets omhoog naar het Cruzinhas monument op de top van Monte Brasil, vol natuur en dierenleven binnenin, en we komen ook vlak langs het historische Portugese militaire gebied op de Azoren.

Het schiereiland Monte Brasil ligt in Angra do Heroísmo, aan de zuidkust van het eiland Terceira in de Azoren. Tijdens deze tour verkennen we het uitzicht op de krater van de vulkaan en beklimmen we Pico das Cruzinhas, vanwaar je een panoramisch uitzicht hebt over het eiland Terceira.

Such a fun and easy way to exlpore Monte Brasil. Our Guide, André, was very knowledgeable and kind and he explained history, culture and biology of the surroundings.
The tour was great. Great view from the top of the place. In between photo stops again and again. We were only three cyclists. The bikes are top. At the viewpoints also explanations from Guide James.

Really enjoyed the bike ride. Beautiful scenery, and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. With the e-bikes, it was easy going up the hilly terrain to the top of the mountain. Overall great experience.

This is a great way to spend the morning. James picked us up at the hotel and quickly got us comfortable with the bikes. After a familiarization ride, we were off - and the turbo made it easy. James made sure we had water and made frequent stops. The combination of the views, the insights,, and the local lore provided by James made this a premier experience. Many thanks to James for his hard work and dedication. I regret we will not be able to do the full island tour with him the next day - an excellent guide and a premier experience.

This was a terrific way to spend the morning - James picked us up and quickly had us situated with our bikes. He allowed time to become comfortable with the controls and we were off - the ebike’s turbo level made it all very easy. James was very aware of our levels and our comfort, providing water and offering numerous stops along the way. History, local lore, and personal Insights combined with beautiful views made the trip go by quickly. The views from the top of Mt Brasil should not be missed and you will be glad you out in the effort. James made our trip effortless, fun and insightful. 5 star all the way!
