E-bike tour door Ostuni: olijfgaarden en olijfoliemolen – e-bike extra

Je kunt kosteloos deelnemen met je eigen e-bike, of een e-bike reserveren voor €45, ter plaatse te betalen. Voor elektrische kinderfietsen, kindertandems en kinderzitjes, zie het gedeelte 'Inbegrepen op het ticket'. Ontdek Ostuni en het platteland van het regionale natuurpark Dune Costière met een e-bike tour langs eeuwenoude olijfbomen, droge stenen muren en mediterrane struikgewassen. Je fietst in een comfortabel tempo over landweggetjes en gemakkelijke paden, met stops voor foto's en korte verkenningstochten door de omgeving. De excursie omvat een bezoek aan de Montalbano-dolmen, die ongeveer 4000 jaar oud is, en een korte, schilderachtige wandeling langs de Via Francigena, tussen olijfgaarden en droogstenen muren. Om de reis in stijl af te sluiten, bezoekt u een traditionele olijfoliemolen waar u de belangrijkste stappen in de productie van extra vierge olijfolie ontdekt, van de oogst tot het persen en de opslag. U sluit af met een begeleide proeverij van lokaal geproduceerde extra vierge olijfolie, waarbij u praktische tips krijgt om de aroma's en kenmerken ervan te herkennen.

A very nice walk without any difficulty in the middle of olive trees and in natural landscapes. The old olive trees are beautiful and this changes village visits. Rocco listens and adapts perfectly to everyone’s wishes. The break at the agricultural cooperative allows you to taste different types of olive oils and buy them for a reasonable price.
Rocco was an excellent tour guide. He was very attentive, and took us on a beautiful tour through lovely olive Fields. There were many open fields of colorful wildflowers. He was extremely informative and friendly. We also very much enjoyed the tour of the olive processing cooperative. And we were able to purchase some very inexpensive, but quite tasty samples.
First visit the olive oil mill and tastings. Nice to discover! Then 2h bike through the olive trees with stops for explanations, conversion with nature and time spent. We were 5, 2 couples and Rocco, who is a great guide by the way. Thank you for this moment! Go for it if you want to spend a quality time!

This is a fantastic tour and we had a really good few hours with Rocco. He is patient, knowledgeable and fun. 100% recommend and he told us he did other tours including wine and we wished we had done his instead of another wine tour we did that wasn’t great.
Rocco was considerate and waited for us when we had problems finding the right Sisterco station. Take advantage of this tour to admire these olive fields and Rocco’s comments are enriching.

Rocco was a wonderful guide as he led us through the orchards, down the 'white road' to where we could see the sea, and he even had his uncle meet us in the orchard and bring a focaccia for our snack!! The tour of the olive oil factory was interesting and learning to taste the olive oils was just amazing. This was a highlight of our trip and Rocco made is special.
