Langs landelijke wegen, tussen trulli, boerderijen en droge stenen muren, zal ik je de plaatsen laten zien waar ik van hou en die ik elke dag beleef door 20 km samen te trappen. We vertrekken vanuit Alberobello, de hoofdstad van de trulli, richting Locorotondo, het meest tot de verbeelding sprekende dorp in de Valle d'Itria: waar een smakelijke stop bij een traditionele lokale bakkerij op ons wacht. We zullen de typisch Apulische focaccia proeven, vers gebakken door Giovanni, vergezeld van een glas wijn. Daarna, voordat we terugkeren naar Alberobello, stoppen we bij de patisserie van Signora Maria om de amandelsnoepjes van onze traditie te proeven. Op de terugweg consumeren we seizoensfruit, dat we rechtstreeks van de bomen plukken (kersen, vijgen, fioroni, peren, bramen, moerbeien). Het wordt geen toeristische ervaring, geen klassieke e-bike-tour, maar een klein avontuur: het lokale leven, weg van drukke plaatsen. *Minimale hoogte vereist voor deelnemers 163 cm (5'4 ft)

Langs landweggetjes, tussen Trulli, Masserie en droge stenen muren, zal ik je de plaatsen laten zien waar ik van hou en waar ik in mijn dagelijks leven woon. We fietsen samen 20 km (ongeveer 12 mijl). We vertrekken vanuit Alberobello, de hoofdstad van Trulli, op weg naar Locorotondo, een van de mooiste steden in Valle d'Itria. Hier leren we de lokale bevolking kennen en stoppen we bij een traditionele deli waar we de kans krijgen om de typische Apulische focaccia te proeven, net gebakken door Giovanni, gevuld met je favoriete charcuterie en groenten en weggespoeld met een goed glas wijn of een drankje naar keuze. Daarna, voordat we terugkeren naar Alberobello, stoppen we bij Maria's bakkerij om wat lokale amandelkoekjes te eten en onderweg proeven we seizoensfruit, met de hand geplukt van de bomen (kersen, fichi, fioroni, peren, bramen en moerbeien, afhankelijk van het seizoen). Onze tour eindigt met een geweldige proeverij van Apulische rosolii. (een typische huisgemaakte likeur)
We zullen de straten van het historische centrum oversteken met onze e-bikes tot we aankomen bij de bakkerij van de heer Giovanni om de typische Apulische focaccia te proeven

Highly Recommend this tour!! Our guides were great and showed us some beautiful parts of the area.
Michele was an excellent guide! And the stop at Stefano’s house for wine and Foccacia was amazing! It really gave us the feeling of living in the Italian culture of Puglia! The bikes were excellent and the scenery magnificent! Would definitely recommend this trip.
Niccolo was a great tour guide who had planned out a fantastic bike ride through the Alberobello region. Loved the information and the few “pit-stops” along the way with one of the highlights visiting a local Italian couple on their farm for food & drinks.
We had the best time biking through local farms and Olive Groves. We stopped by an ancestral, Trulli home of Stefano.
The guides were very nice and took us through the surroundings of Alberobello and Locorotondo with a very nice stopover with wine and food at Stefane !
Gigi and Stefano were amazing guides. A beautiful way to tour the countryside and the sites you would miss otherwise. The stop for lunch at a local farmhouse hosted by 92 years young Mr Stephano and touring his 300 yr old Trulli home was amazing along with a stop in Locorondo for some quick shopping. Definitely worth the ride and time.
What a great tour. Definitely a must do if you are visiting the Puglia area. Mike was a fantastic guide sharing history and making sure we were safe along our ride. Our highlight was meeting Stephano and seeing his trullo as well having a snack and homemade limoncello!
This was a really excellent. Our guide Mirko and Gigi were excellent. The ride is like 99% on very quiet roads and tracks. Don’t worry about traffic etc it’s really not an issue. The bikes were in superb condition. And the turbo assist made the inclines very easy. The food pit stop was excellent and meeting Stefano the youngest 95 year old we have ever met was a real privilege. The views in this trip are genuinely outselling. Take a camera! It’s a great way to explore the valley and see Trulli. You will not regret booking.
It was an excellent day. Our guide was very informative and he didn’t rush us , let us go at our own pace and stop when we wanted to The stop at Stephany’s Tulli was great -nice focaccia, wine, home made lemon cello and sweets.
Beautiful scenery to take in via bicycle. Great guides and amazing focaccia & wine tasting at Stefano’s farm!! Highly recommend!!
