Excellent instruction on using the quad. Guide was very approachable and was very knowledgeable. Stunning viewpoints and then we went into the communist bunker whoxh was very interesting. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a quad bike tour which takes in the coast, stunning views of Durres as well as a bit of history.
It was a very nice experience. The guides were nice, friendly and explained everything clearly. We were able to take nice pictures at one point and while driving you could occasionally give nice gas. All in all definitely worth it
For now, I have to deduct a star, because insurance had to be paid for 10€, which was never mentioned before - transparent communication is something else. The briefing went well and the quads are in a suitable condition. You have to keep in mind that braking and accelerating in the long run is a bit strenuous and uncomfortable. But what really annoyed me was that we drove through the mountains at walking speed. That was certainly due to the older lady at the front, but why not control the group so that these people are riding at the back, especially since there were guides at the front and back. Downhill, you actually only braked permanently and only accelerated uphill at walking speed with regular stopping. We were apparently so slow that we returned to the meeting point half an hour later than planned. So that wasn't fun, a sense of adventure didn't come up with me. I thought it was a shame that I approached the guide and he told me that nothing could be done about it.

Auch Sie könnten in Schwierigkeiten geraten, und dann würde sich das Tempo natürlich ändern. Sie waren nicht Teil einer privaten Tour. Normalerweise ist der Guide für die gesamte Gruppe zuständig und kann nicht von der Gruppe getrennt werden, nur weil Sie schneller fahren möchten. Das tut uns leid.
Deplorable Customer Service - €20 thrown out the window I had booked a quad bike tour for the afternoon. As soon as the reservation is confirmed, I realize that I have the wrong starting point. I warn them immediately, thinking that a simple exchange of slot or location would be a breeze (especially as there were still seats at the other site). Answer? Outright refusal, zero effort, no empathy. Result: 20 € lost, no possibility of refund or even having a credit. We're talking about a simple administrative change that cost them nothing, but no... bad faith. Frankly, an agency that boasts a "customer experience" but is also rigid and unmarketable deserves a huge red card. There are plenty of other providers for quad bike rides in the area: go elsewhere, you will save your money and your nerves. Ps: don't say you lost 50 € I warned you immediately that I couldn't be there! And you weren’t full anyway... you’re being dishonest, that’s all!
Cancellations or rescheduling are made 24 hours before the tour departure. We have a duty to be clear in the information we provide, especially about locations. If you make a mistake, the responsibility falls on you. You made a reservation and the money is not refundable. You had 2 hours to show up and you didn't show up. The fact that you didn't show up means that we ran the tour with 1 quad less than planned, so 50 euros -.
Very challenging tour along the sea. Very nice views and a very attentive guide. Including a tour of a bunker facility.
The tour was really good, the guys that were our guides were uber friendly and up for a laugh. They presented the tour in English so when in the bunkers it gave us an insight to what Albania was like under dictatorship! Would highly recommend, it can be dusty so old clothes, but they do have blowers when you get back to base!
Very exciting and adventerous. Driving through the beautiful parts of the mountains. You also learn a little bit of history of Albania, which was fun.
I unfortunately have to give a low rating to Durres: Off Road ATV Kallmi Tour due to my experience with their cancellation and refund process. On 30 July 2025, I booked a tour directly through their website and paid a €20 deposit by card. Just minutes later, I realised that booking through Get Your Guide offered a better deal. I immediately cancelled the booking and received an email confirmation of the cancellation. After several days without a refund, I contacted the company to remind them. They instructed me to “wait a few more days.” Now, 7 days later, I still have not received my deposit back and it is clear that the promised refund is not being processed. This experience has been disappointing and I believe it’s important for others to know that cancellations made on their own website may not result in the return of your deposit, even if you cancel immediately after booking. I hope the company improves their refund policy and customer service so future guests don’t encounter the same problem.
Hello! first of all it is not true that in gyg the offer is better than there is no way to be in gyg reservations you pay 35 euros per person and in the description you have all the instructions on how it works! on our website you pay 20 euros for the reservation and the rest when you arrive and the total is the same 50 euros as you paid. normally it is not in our refund policies now we are in season and normally these days we expect that we will work too, it is simply that you do not reserve and you do not have to wait for the refund but in your case things were different, you developed the tour with us and remained satisfied with it but the bad thing in this was that you were not careful to read the description in gyg and you persistently asked for the refund for this reason because you thought that there you would pay less. unfortunately for you we have to call you a liar !! On the day of the tour you told us that the ticket from Gyg was given as a gift and that was the reason why you were asking for a refund, now you are telling us that you chose to do it there with the claim of a cheaper ticket. Our mistake, I believe in what we are told, you are completely right, you are asking for a refund because we offered it, you are still a liar. As I told you, this procedure is automatic through the banks, we are waiting impatiently for that 20 euros to be returned to you and to see if you will apologize publicly. You should be ashamed if you do not do such a thing and you should be ashamed that after the service you received and after all those thanks you gave us, you left this description. When you get your money back, we await your next comment! and do not make the mistake of canceling this review.
Quad bike experience in Durres very nice and fun. The guides are good guys, kind and very attentive to the group, which made the tour really enjoyable. The only flaw: during the mountainous trails my friend was stopped with the quad because of the low battery. In addition, we had planned a guide in Italian, but the tour is conducted only in English. Despite this, I definitely recommend the experience for those who want to discover the area in an adventurous and fun way.
Brilliant tour that is worth the price. Great tour guide who explained the history of military in Albania and got to see some old tunnels and bunkers. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
