Waarom duiken in cenotes een van de beste ervaringen is? Cenotes zijn alleen te vinden in dit deel van de wereld, en dit is te wijten aan het feit dat de meteoriet die de dinosauriërs 65 miljoen jaar geleden doodde, het schiereiland Yucatan insloeg, waardoor ondergrondse rivieren ontstonden met volledig kristalhelder water. Bovendien biedt de magische wereld van cenotes ons de mogelijkheid om ongelooflijke oude formaties te observeren, zoals stalactieten, stalagmieten, kolommen en verschillende speleothems die je het gevoel geven dat je op een andere planeet bent! Versteende koralen en dieren geven deze ervaring een unieke archeologische setting. De ultraviolette stralen van de zon dringen door de ingangen van de grot en vormen verbazingwekkende lichteffecten op het water! Alsof dit alles nog niet genoeg was, gaven de Maya's deze ervaring een zeer mystieke en magische context.

This is a great experience, the dive master was very attentive since this was my first time. I enjoyed it.
Absolutely fantastic diving experience. Instructors were amazing. We dove with Ramiro the first day at the ship wreck in PM and the 2nd day in Cozumel. We dove with Isaac the 3rd day in 2 Cenotes. I would highly recommend both instructors. Thank you Scuba Public and we will see you again for more diving soon.
We have only dived open water and never a cenote. Our guide, Isaac, was an absolute blast to work with and you could tell he really cared about us and the dive experience. We will be using him again.
A really good, small and well organised company. Helpful and knowledgeable people with carefully maintained gear. The reef is huge and the cenotes offer amazing diving. I have 90 logged dives and have never dived with a company more focussed on safety. Forget diving in Cancun and head to Puerto Morelos.
