Eiland Šipan is je volgende bestemming, het is het grootste eiland van allemaal. Šipan heeft het Guinness wereldrecord voor het grootste aantal olijfbomen op één eiland. Historisch gezien was het belangrijk voor de adellijke families van de Republiek Dubrovnik omdat het hun favoriete zomerverblijf was. Ze bouwden er historische villa's en zomerhuizen, en vandaag de dag kunt u genieten van laatgotische architectuur. In een plaats genaamd Suđurađ, dat ook een van de havens is, besloten veel families om te blijven en de visserstraditie te behouden. De reden hiervoor is dat Šipan het verst van het vasteland ligt en het toerisme er nooit in geslaagd is om het te commercialiseren. Kortom, op Šipan kun je het werkelijke lokale leven en activiteiten zien die de lokale bevolking doet, niet gerelateerd aan toerisme.

This boat tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Kiko was great, he timed our tour out perfectly to avoid big crowds and gave us a lot of options of how we wanted to spend the day. Had some beautiful spots for swimming in private coves, in addition to showing us some of the attractions like the caves. We had a couple fun spots for drinks at beaches and lunch, with some nice recommendations. He also boated us around Old Town and told us some historical/cultural facts, which were great to learn from a local. A must do if you want to experience the scenery of the area, in a fun and relaxing way!
Our family had the best experience! Kiko was wonderful, very knowledgeable about the areas he took us to, and a delight! Definitely recommend seeing Dubrovnik by water if you have the opportunity to.

Had a such fun few hours on the water with family from all ages (very young to reaching 80). Used 2 speed boats to take us to different caves where we swam and enjoyed exploring for a couple of hours then stopped at a quaint village where we had some lunch. Bruno our driver was so attentive - providing us with drinks and snorkel gear and also allowed us to play our music on the boat to make it such a fun and memorable day - we all loved it and would highly recommend it

Best trip ever. Half day over to the Elaphiti islands. Beautiful views and scenery. Great fun on the boat with a couple of stops for snorkeling. Great value at the price. Tour guide Bruno was fun and frendly.

Dubrovnik is even more beautiful by boat, we were told all of the historical and architectural information about the locations. The caves we were taken to were beautiful and we were also taken to quieter places to swim. We had such a good time we booked another tour before we left.

We were set on a pleasant holiday and booking of this activity was accurate that. Bruno welcomed us well and adapted the boat trip to our wishes. He could tell about the different islands we drove past, the caves and recommendation of dining places where we were dropped off. We swam into one cave, which is really recommended. This was the highlight of our entire holiday and we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Can really recommend booking a private boat trip here!
