Dubrovnik Panorama Tour - mooie rit, bezoek aan de oude stad en retour transfer voor één, geweldige prijs. Blijkt door duizenden opgewonden toeristen. Uitgangspunten zijn van Port Gruž (nadat u de uitgang van de voetgangershaven passeert, op het hoofdbusstation) of van Pile Gate (fontein naast restaurant Dubravka). Kies uit een van de verschillende vertrektijden wanneer u boekt. Uw chauffeur neemt u mee op een panoramische rit van 1 uur en 30 minuten om alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad te bekijken; lente van de rivier Ombla, Franjo Tuđman brug en fort Imperiaal op Mt. Srđ (top van de kabelbaan). Geniet van het comfort van een volledig modern toeristisch voertuig, terwijl u luistert naar de opmerkingen over de sites die u bezoekt. Panorama rijden zal eindigen op Pile gate, waar je wat vrije tijd hebt in de oude stad. Retourtransfer terug naar het cruiseschip, vanaf de Pile gate, vertrek op elk half uur is inbegrepen.

Een architecturale attractie die u een prachtig uitzicht biedt. Vanuit het uitkijkpunt van de brug in het zuiden zie je de cruisehaventerminal Gruž van Dubrovnik met alle cruiseschepen, het nieuwe stadje Lapad op het schiereiland en de nabijgelegen eilanden van Dubrovnik. In het noorden strekt zich de baai van Rijeka Dubrovačka met zijn steile kliffen voor u uit.
Terwijl je richting de tweede stop rijdt, zie je steile heuvels die doen denken aan Noorse fjorden. De rivier de Ombla is een karstfenomeen ontstaan in buurland Bosnië. In de buurt van de stad stroomt het onder de berg door en ontspringt in Kroatië. Je ziet de ruïnes van de 15e-eeuwse zomerresidentie van de beroemde dichter Marin Držić en voelt de kracht van het stromende water. Tegenwoordig is dat de belangrijkste bron van drinkbaar water voor de stad.
In de groene oase van de stad heb je twee fotostops. De eerste stop is op het beste uitkijkpunt in het dorp Bosanka, bij de ruïnes van het oude Napoleon-garnizoen. Vanaf hier maak je de meest instagrambare foto's van de oude binnenstad van Dubrovnik met zijn herkenbare rode pannendaken omgeven door stadsmuren - zoals die van ansichtkaarten.
De tweede stop op de berg Srđ bevindt zich op de top van de heuvel, waar je over het imperiale fort, gebouwd tijdens de heerschappij van Napoleon, en het bovenste kabelbaanstation loopt terwijl je het panoramische uitzicht over 3 verschillende landen, het natuurpark Lokrum en de oude stad bewondert. Cavtat. Hier heb je een pauze van 20 minuten terwijl je gids de buurlanden wijst en je het verhaal vertelt over Fort Imperial.

Great tour and great guide Denis(give him a raise)
My husband and I enjoyed our time with our driver Tony. He spoke of the history of Dubrovnik and pointed out many historical places and took us to some not so well-known locations. The ride up the mountain was amazing (and scary at times) but well worth it for the views. We had the option of being dropped off at the old town for a but chose hours and picked up later in the day but we chose to go back to our ship only because of how hot it was. But driving through old town was nice as well.
Nice stops and guide was informative. My only complaint was that we were not able to catch a Horizon shuttle back to the ship. We had to take the ship shuttle bus back which cost us €10 each. The return shuttle stop needs to be explained thoroughly.
The tour was great; Kristian told us a lot on the tour. There were only four of us, and we were able to have great conversations with the other couple and Kristian. Very interesting, very worth seeing.
The tour is going to be good when the team contact you before pickup time and communicate well, and when the guide is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. With extensive knowledge of local history and current situations, a cheerful demeanour, and an astute ability to relate to and welcome people, Denis took us to some wonderful viewpoints including seeing the old town set against the azure of the sea in the Bosanka area. We saw beautiful sights, had fun, and learnt lots along the way. Thanks for an incredible tour on July 7th, Horizon team!

They adjusted to our schedule because our ship came in late. Communication was excellent (use “whatsapp”. The tour was really good and super efficient. Highly recommended!
It was surprising to see that there were only two of us on this excursion. However, our guide took us to many important places in this extreme heat. He was patient, helpful and answered all our questions. Owing to a misunderstanding with timings, we were still picked up at the chosen spot which was near Pile and were taken back to our hotel. All in all, it was a good start to our trip in Dubrovnik.
We had a wonderful tour of Dubrovnik, in the comfort of an air conditioned van! Our driver, Slavko, was fantastic and very knowledgeable, and we really had a fun time with him.
We stopped in Dubrovnik for the day on our cruise. We kayaked in the morning and walked the beautiful old city. We met Ivo outside the old city and he told us he could take us on a driving tour with great stops and scenery for a great price. He took 12 of us in 2 of his vans (one open air which was fun) and gave us a great tour of his city in about 2 hours. He took us where the tram goes and even a spot with a better view for great pictures. It was the perfect overview of Dubrovnik, he was friendly and informative and even dropped us off back at our ship. We were overwhelmed with the beauty of this city and will be back.
