Mostar is de grootste stad in de regio en is beroemd om zijn brug die de rivier de Neretva overspant. De Stari Most, of "Oude Brug", werd oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de 16e eeuw en is sindsdien een symbool van de stad geworden. U kunt ook de oude stad verkennen, de Koski Mehmed Pasha-moskee bezoeken en traditionele Bosnische gerechten proberen in een van de lokale restaurants.
Ston is een klein stadje gelegen op het schiereiland Peljesac, op ongeveer een uur rijden van Dubrovnik. Het is vooral bekend om zijn indrukwekkende verdedigingsmuren, die oorspronkelijk in de 14e eeuw werden gebouwd om de stad te beschermen tegen indringers. De muren strekken zich uit over meer dan vijf kilometer en zijn de langste verdedigingsmuren van Europa, waardoor ze een populaire attractie zijn voor bezoekers. Naast de muren is de stad ook beroemd om zijn oesters en andere zeevruchten, die worden geoogst uit de nabijgelegen oceaan. Er zijn verschillende restaurants in de stad waar u deze verse, lokaal geproduceerde delicatessen kunt proeven. Andere opmerkelijke attracties in Ston zijn het Saltworks Museum, dat een inzicht geeft in de geschiedenis van de zoutproductie in de regio, en het Franciscaner klooster, dat dateert uit de 14e eeuw en beschikt over prachtige gotische architectuur.
Sinds 2006 hebben we 22 hectare nieuwe wijngaarden en 1700 olijfbomen opgericht op de nieuwe locatie van het jongste wijnbouwgebied in Kroatië, dat Komarna heet. Het concept van het Komarna wijnbouwgebied, waar alle producenten biologisch zijn geregistreerd, is door onze familie gecreëerd en we hebben ook het project geïnitieerd. In 2012 hebben we een wijnmakerij gebouwd die voldoet aan de hoogste technologische normen voor de productie van wijn op het grondgebied van de wijngaard. Op onze wijngaard behoort 90% van de wijnstokken tot de inheemse variëteiten Plavac mali en Pošip, samen met de enigszins vergeten variëteit Tribidrag. Ter ere van onze grootvader en overgrootvader, die de eerste wijnmaker in onze familie was, draagt het wijnhuis zijn bijnaam, Rizman.

Booked a transfer with Mateo B. with an hour option at Ston, Croatia. Mateo was meticulous in contacting me a day before the trip to confirm the meeting point and he was early. As I had visited Ston the day before on an oyster & mussels tour, I asked him to change to a mid point for lunch. On the way, he stopped and showed us the Arboretum Trsteno park to stretch our legs. For lunch, he took us to Rizman Slivno winery and vineyard where we had a wonderful lunch with stunning views of the coast below. Finally we stopped by Kliss Fortress for a toilet stop and quick photos of the fort. We arrived Split and he stayed with us until i confirmed the hotel booking. As we will be in Split for 3 days, he even followed up with a message of a contact i could call should I need transportation. This is A+ service and we very much appreciated the extra time Mateo put in to show us around.
