On 23 February 2026 we booked a desert safari in Dubai – with camel ride, dinner and cultural entertainment. Even during our trip planning it was clear to us that we definitely did not want to miss this special experience. That's why we reserved the tour before we left. Our adventure even started a little earlier than planned. Although the pick-up was originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m., our guide was already standing in front of our really nice hotel in Dubai at 2:45 p.m. with his SUV. Together with two other guests we made our way out into the impressive desert landscape. The drive took us deeper and deeper into the dunes until we finally reached a remote camp in the middle of the desert. Already on the way there we could enjoy the fascinating vastness of the desert and the special atmosphere of this place. Our guide Sabith was particularly noteworthy: He was very friendly, attentive and took a lot of time for us. You could tell immediately that he really cared about the well-being of his guests. Overall, the desert safari was an unforgettable experience for us – from camel rides to delicious dinners and cultural entertainment in the camp. We can recommend this desert safari at any time.

What is good and what is bad? SABITH was a chauffeur I didn't choose. I just got it, but it was a men's realm, a becouse... He was really involved in the condition of everyone here. It's the man who doubled the feeling of the trip. His jeeping safari skills are particularly memorable. He really raised both adrenoline and endorphin. Five stars deserved.

Great activity with family. 5 starts all around

The actual jeep safari was excellent fun, our driver was fantastic and super fun, however a few things which ruined our trip and things to be aware of. Firstly, squeezing 8 people into a 4x4 where the back seat is a bench was a terrible and uncomfortable experience, and dangerous for long journeys and the actual off-road fun. The journey time was not as advised and took 2+ hours to get there and 4+ hours to get to the evening food/dancing and another 2+ back to hotel. We had 20 mins of entertainment and the last of the food (which was poor) due to the traffic. It wasn’t made clear you needed to pay extra for self drive quads and buggy’s (although was fun). The sand siding was a 3 foot drop on your bum - extremely disappointing. The organisation getting into the camp was a complete farce and would not recommend it to anyone. The driver was not at fault here, but there is no etiquette and other private drivers were overtaking and ours couldn’t due to being fined. So we had to let 200+ cars past us which was infuriating. Could have been amazing but was terrible and we ached the next day due to the lack of comfort and duration. Such a shame.
