Fotostop: Jumeira Beach is een wit zandstrand dat is vernoemd naar het Jumeirah-district van Dubai, aan de kust van de Perzische Golf.
Jumeirah-moskee is de meest gefotografeerde moskee in Dubai. Terwijl de koele witte muren er overdag geweldig uitzien tegen een helderblauwe hemel, arriveer je in de schemering voor de meest spectaculaire opnamen van de buitenkant. Hierna bezoeken we de Islamic Art Gallery
Verken een samengestelde collectie Arabische kunst, tapijten en souvenirs – een geweldige plek voor culturele geschenken en aandenkens.
Vervolgens krijgt u de kans om de kreek per boot over te steken in authentieke "Abras", genietend van het spectaculaire stadsbeeld terwijl u op weg bent naar de wijk Deira, de thuisbasis van Dubai's grootste specerijen en gouden souks. Hier waarom uitgeven aan een gouden souvenir, proef exotische kruiden.
We zullen het Bur Dubai Abra Station bezoeken en dan zullen we Hop on the Water taxis en Cross the water canal
De Dubai Mall is 's werelds grootste bestemming voor winkelen, entertainment en vrije tijd, gelegen naast het hoogste gebouw ter wereld, de Burj Khalifa. Met meer dan 1200 winkels, twee grote warenhuizen en honderden eet- en drinkgelegenheden, beslaat het winkelcentrum meer dan 1 miljoen m² - wat overeenkomt met 200 voetbalvelden.

Vervolgens rijdt u in zuidelijke richting over de Sheikh ZAYED-weg tot we het toegangspunt van Palm Jumeirah bereiken - een eiland in de vorm van een palmboom met panoramisch uitzicht op de Arabische Golf.
Monorail activiteit (opgeschort tot nader order): U wordt dan overgebracht naar een Monorail, een ander vervoersmiddel dat het vasteland met het kunstmatige eiland verbindt, afgezien van de rijbaan. De monorail loopt langs de stam van de Palm Jumeirah en verbindt het Gateway station bij de ingang van de Palm met het Atlantis hotel aan het uiteinde. De Palm Monorail is een goed uitkijkpunt om de Palm Jumeirah te zien en de rit geeft een goed uitzicht over het eiland.
Marina Walk: Daarna gaan we verder en onze volgende stop is bij de nieuwe jachthaven van Dubai, waar 'The Walk' is gelegen, een open ruimte met verschillende gerenommeerde restaurants, cafés en boetieks. Ten slotte gaat de tour door de gloednieuwe stad van het Jumeirah-meer en eindigt in het BARSHA-gebied in de Mall of the Emirates, waar een van 's werelds grootste en meest fascinerende kunstmatige skiresort zich bevindt.

The tour was well organized and hit all the major sites, except for the tour of the top of the Burj Kahlifa. First, it is not the top of the building but only the 124th floor, which is not the highest floor. Second, the tour stated that we would go to the observation deck and then have time for lunch and shopping; by the time we waited over an hour to get to the top and see the views, when we came down there was no time left. This was poorly planned and the wait time should have been factored in when discussing the meeting time and place afterward. When I raised the issue with the guide, he advised me that the tickets were premium and that we hadn't waited as long as other tickets would make us wait. He suggested that we run and get take out, which is unacceptable as there are no washrooms on the bus and the tickets had expressly stated there would be time in the mall to see the fountains and get a bite to eat and/or souvenirs. After significant persuasion we were granted an additional half hour to the original plan. I think it was so that the driver didn't have to drive in rush hour traffic. Of note, one of the stops on the tour was to a carpet store, which took half an hour to 45 minutes; this could have been deleted from the itinerary as the products were extremely pricey and took away from the sightseeing time. The bus was comfortable, the driving was professional and the photo op times at various sites was adequate.

I recently booked the "Dubai Panorama: Full day with Burj Khalifa" tour and had an absolutely wonderful time. The itinerary is packed with highlights—from the cultural atmosphere of the Spice Souk and the Abra ride to the breathtaking views at the top of the Burj Khalifa. A special mention must go to our guide, Rahim. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts at every stop, but more importantly, he was polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire day. He really went out of his way to ensure everyone in the group was comfortable and enjoying themselves. If you’re looking to see the best of Dubai in one day, I highly recommend this tour, and if you get Rahim as your guide, you’re in great hands!

Here is a bigger and more aggressive version: Absolutely terrible experience with Grayline. This was not a real tour — it was a commission-based shopping trap. At almost every single stop, it was obvious that the company was more focused on earning commission than giving guests a proper sightseeing experience. We were taken to specific shops and pressured to look around and buy things, wasting valuable time that should have been spent exploring and learning. The guide barely focused on providing useful information and instead kept directing us toward places where they clearly benefit financially. It felt dishonest and unprofessional. When you book a tour, you expect quality service, good information, and a well-planned itinerary — not constant hidden sales tactics. I feel completely disappointed and misled. This company cares more about profit than customer satisfaction. I strongly do NOT recommend Grayline to anyone. If you want a genuine tour experience, stay away and choose another company.

Rizwan was a very helpful and friendly guide. He took great care to make me and another lady (who were the only ones on this trip) very comfortable. Was very patient and took pictures for me which is something I really appreciate.
