Ontdek de oude stad van Dubai tijdens een wandeltocht in de wijk Al Fahidi. Bezoek een traditioneel Emirati-huis, probeer streetfood, verken levendige markten en maak een boottocht op Dubai Creek in een traditionele abra.

We beginnen onze wandeltocht door onze gids te ontmoeten in het Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant in de historische wijk Al Fahidi. Voel je welkom met Arabische koffie en thee met dadels, waar je later ook Arabische gerechten als luqaimat en Ragag proeft.
Wandel over de Al Seef-promenade en geniet van het charmante uitzicht op de kleine moskee. Wandel door de smalle straatjes van de wijk Al Fahidi, waar u de prachtige oude gebouwen naast moderne kunt bewonderen.
Ga voorbij de Grand Souk en maak een ritje op een traditionele abra-watertaxi om Dubai Creek te verkennen. Geniet van het weidse uitzicht op grote handelsschepen en de hoge wolkenkrabbers van de skyline van Dubai terwijl u vaart.
Wanneer u de Spice Souk bereikt, geniet u van de rijke geuren en felle kleuren van de verschillende kruiden en ingrediënten. U kunt ook proberen te onderhandelen met de lokale verkopers.
Bezoek ten slotte de Gold Souk en bewonder de prachtige sieraden, het zilver en de edelstenen. Neem afscheid van uw gids en verlaat Dubai met een diepere waardering voor de traditionele cultuur en geschiedenis, voorbij de luxe en de schittering.

I did the Old Dubai Premium Guided tour with street food and Abra ride. It was awesome. I 100% recommend. The guide for our small group was Zeeshan (“Zee”) he was the absolute best !! He was so knowledgeable about Dubai and its history and he was also funny and entertained us with his jokes and fun facts. We started at a cafe and tried some delicious treats. Then walked around the old town with lots of interesting facts and commentary from Zee. He answered all our questions and had extra details to offer. Then we went to the Spice souks - into the aircon which was lovely out of the heat and had some more yummy food and tea and smelled some amazing scents. Then off to the Gold Souk - what extravagance ! All in all fantastic from start to end. Five stars for Zee.
Beautiful guided tour in old Dubai with a local guide named NASSER who speaks excellent Italian. The tour also includes a tasting of local products. Recommended experience to see another side of Dubai.
