Bij het Dubai Dune Buggy Speed Desert Adventure! Gasten hebben de mogelijkheid om verschillende opties voor off-road ritten te boeken, waaronder: ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle): Gasten kunnen kiezen tussen enkele of dubbele (tweezitter) quads. Deze voertuigen zijn ontworpen om verschillende soorten terrein aan te kunnen, waardoor ze geschikt zijn om de woestijnduinen te verkennen. Dune Buggy: De Dune Buggy-opties zijn verkrijgbaar in een 2-zits of een 4-zits configuratie. Deze buggy's zijn terreinwagens die zijn ontworpen om door uitdagende woestijnlandschappen te navigeren. Bij elke optie kunnen gasten genieten van een rit van 30 minuten in de zandduinen, wat een opwindende en onvergetelijke ervaring in de woestijn van Dubai oplevert. In het woestijnkamp Korte rit op een kameel: Bij het bereiken van het kamp hebben gasten de mogelijkheid om te genieten van een korte rit op een kameel, een traditionele manier van vervoer in de woestijn te ervaren en bij te dragen aan de algehele woestijnervaring. Henna-ontwerp: gasten kunnen ingewikkelde henna-ontwerpen op hun huid laten aanbrengen, wat in veel culturen in het Midden-Oosten gebruikelijk is. Tanoura-dans: een betoverende, op soefi's geïnspireerde dans waarbij artiesten gracieus ronddraaien in kleurrijke rokken, waardoor een visueel spektakel ontstaat. Vuurdans: dansers nemen vuur op in hun routines en laten indrukwekkende staaltjes van vaardigheid en coördinatie zien. Buikdans: Een boeiende dansstijl met ingewikkelde bewegingen van de heupen en romp, vaak uitgevoerd door ervaren buikdanseressen. BBQ-diner: gasten laten genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd in de woestijnomgeving. Having taken the Premium Desert Safari some 10 years ago and loved it, we were really looking forward to doing it again. However, whilst our driver was very nice and did his best for us, the experience was far from fun. The drive to the dunes from our pick up hotel took over 1 hour. We spent about 45 minutes dune bashing in the 4X4 which was fun. Our driver was not part of a "convoy" so we managed to have some alone time on the dunes. He helped us do a little sand boarding which was fun. Then came the drive to the Camp. He told us it would be around another 1 hour drive (which was surprising as the last time we did this tour - the camp was close to the dunes). But the drive took us over 1 and a half hours. So many vehicles all going to the camp area meant traffic jams on the narrow roads. We missed our chance of a photo op to watch the sun go down and our eventual arrival at the camp meant also we did not have time for camel rides. Drinks were not allowed to be served until 7.00pm and then there was a mad dash for the buffet. We had been told that if we didn't leave by 7.30pm it could take us 2-3 hours to return to our hotel as all the vehicles would be leaving at the same time. We managed to see two stage acts but no belly dancers whilst we were there. The camp is now purpose built and lacks the Bedouin style that I remembered from our previous visit. Our driver was helpful and very nice but the number of tourists and vehicles did not provide us with the pleasant experience we have had before.

The trip was so good. Shobi is a great driver and guide, picked me up on time, we had an amazing time driving up and down in the desert, tried the ride in the desert, and watched a very good show. The dance was very good, food was good too.
