Vertrek vanuit Laem Chabang (of een andere) haven, waar onze chauffeur klaar staat om u hartelijk te verwelkomen. Ze zullen ruim voor de geplande vergadertijd bij de terminal wachten, met een bordje met uw naam voor gemakkelijke herkenning.
Aangekomen bij de bootpier maak je klaar voor een onvergetelijk bezoek aan de beroemde Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, een van Thailands meest iconische en historische markten. Uw ervaring begint met een spannende motorboottocht, waarbij u meteen in de levendige sfeer komt die deze grachten al meer dan honderd jaar vullen. Terwijl je over de waterwegen glijdt, zie je een levendige scène van kleurrijke boten en gastvrije lokale verkopers. Deze tour biedt een prachtige mix van cultuur, geschiedenis en lokale smaken, waardoor het een hoogtepunt is voor bezoekers uit de hele wereld. De drijvende markt van Damnoen Saduak is een van de meest charmante en pittoreske in Thailand. Bezoekers van over de hele wereld komen om de tijdloze sfeer van deze waterwegen te ervaren, waar het leven al meer dan een eeuw op vrijwel dezelfde manier stroomt. Tijdens uw bezoek geniet u van een ontspannen wandeltocht, een heerlijke lunch en de kans om een verscheidenheid aan heerlijke Thaise vruchten en lokale specialiteiten te proeven. Trakteer jezelf op zoete mango met kleefrijst, vers gemaakt kokosijs en traditionele Thaise bootnoedels, allemaal geserveerd in een levendige en kleurrijke omgeving.
U zult genieten van een zachte introductie tot traditioneel kokosnoot vakmanschap, te beginnen met een demonstratie van hoe kokosbloemen zorgvuldig worden gesneden en hun zoete nectar verzameld in bamboe containers. Je zult zien hoe natuurlijk conserverend hout wordt toegevoegd, en hoe de nectar langzaam wordt gekookt en gepasteuriseerd tot een verfrissend drankje. Je krijgt ook de kans om verse kokosmelk uit de schaal te persen met behulp van een traditionele Thaise “konijnentanden” houten pers, een eenvoudige maar fascinerende techniek die generaties lang is doorgegeven.
De Spoorwegmarkt staat speels bekend als de “levensgevaarlijke” markt, en het is echt een ervaring als geen ander. Op Mae Klong Station, zult u getuige zijn van een van Thailand's meest fascinerende scènes van dichtbij. Als de trein nadert en het signaal klinkt, komt de markt in actie. In enkele ogenblikken trekken verkopers snel hun luifels terug en verplaatsen ze hun goederen van het spoor, waardoor een duidelijk pad ontstaat. Zodra de trein passeert, keert alles net zo snel terug naar normaal, met kraampjes die weer opengaan en de levendige markt die doorgaat alsof er niets is gebeurd.
Aan het einde van uw reis reist u terug naar Laem Chabang (of andere) haven. De rit biedt een kans om te ontspannen en na te denken over de hoogtepunten van de dag voordat u weer bij de belangrijkste cruiseterminal van Thailand komt. Uw tour is privé en volledig aanpasbaar. Je wordt opgehaald vanuit de haven van Klong Toei, de haven van Laem Chabang of de haven van Sri Racha. Hoewel dit verschillende locaties zijn, verwijzen reizigers er vaak gezamenlijk naar als 'Bangkok Port'. Uw chauffeurs ontmoeten de gasten bij de uitgang van de terminal en komen ongeveer 10 minuten voor de geplande ophaaltijd in de haven aan om stiptheid te garanderen. Poppy our guide was outstanding. Worth the drive from Bangkok. Her and a private driver pick you up in comfortable SUV with cold towels and ice waters. Poppy guided us through the markets to show us where the best prices were, she initiated photo opportunities we wouldn’t have been able to get just the two of us. She helped us push through the crowds and made sure we got the best seat on the train. She even bought us some coconut ice cream as a gift in the floating market. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! An amazing day. The rail market was very unusual and something all tourist should see. Our guide, Ice, positioned us for best seats in train and best views in market. Our second stop was the coconut farm. This experience was so far beyond my expectation. It provided a view into Thai life outside the city. The coconut trees were beautiful. The floating market was our last stop and something any visitor to Thailand should do. We had a ride on a boat through a canal to the market. We then got back on land and toured the market. Ice was so attentive and a great guide. The private car was necessary for this trip. The driver was very good. The coordination between guide and driver kept us safe and moving easily through the experience. We highly recommend this team and this experience.
