Great fun from the minute we boarded the boat. Knowledgeable crew who who super helpful and friendly. Thanks to Mike and Kyle.
This was a very fun trip! The boat captain and mate were very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was safe and well worth the money! I would do it again.
The experience was great. The captains were all super funny and cracking jokes as much as they could with keeping it professional.
It's about an hour ride to the island, and an hour back. So, the shelling time is about an hour long. The boat ride is just as enjoyable- lots of sites to see and the crew tells you fun facts along the way. Robin and Collin were great! Was a very fun trip, and would do it again! We saw dolphins and even a manatee!
Robin and Collin are so friendly and fun. The tide was smooth (for those that get motion sickness). The fun facts and history was interesting and appreciated . The music was excellent!! We saw manatee and dolphins on our trip back to dock. We would definitely do this again.
“Worth it” is exactly what we love to hear! We’re so glad you enjoyed the Three Hour Shelling Cruise to Shell Key Preserve with Hubbard’s Marina and had such a smooth, comfortable ride. Robin and Collin will appreciate the kind words. It’s great to hear their friendly energy, fun facts, local history, and music helped make the trip even more enjoyable. Seeing manatees and dolphins on the ride back to John’s Pass in Madeira Beach is such a memorable way to end a Shell Key adventure. Thank you for choosing Hubbard’s Marina for your shelling cruise. We’re happy to hear you would do it again, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
This was a great time! Went with several friends and had a good time. Robin was a wonderful hostess. We will do again.
The Driver of the boat was very informative and allowed us to view the dolphins swimming around us. The shell key was perfect place to hang out for an hour in the water and got lots of shells too
Fun, friendly, knowledgeable crew. We had a great time. Don’t expect a secluded island. Beautiful shells collected for another amazing beach trip.
Very nice area that we shell at. Found a lot of nice shells. Captains were very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Beware that if you are at the front of the boat on a windy day you will get kissed by some salt water. Overall had a great experience. Would try again!
The boat cruise was so much fun! We had to travel through the inter coastal waters because the ocean was very choppy. It was about an hour to get to shell key and on the way we learned all about the houses, saw dolphins and other wildlife. We spent an hour at shell key, which was calm waters with plenty of neat shells and wildlife. Back on the boat, the crew made necklaces out of our favorite shell! The company has many other cruises too, we will book again! Also, you can book directly through their website too.
That sounds like a great Shell Key cruise, even with choppy Gulf conditions! We’re glad the crew was able to adjust the route through the Intracoastal waters and still make the ride fun, scenic, and full of interesting local information. Learning about the waterfront homes, spotting dolphins and other wildlife, and then arriving at calm waters around Shell Key Preserve sounds like a memorable way to spend the day. We’re also happy to hear you found plenty of neat shells and enjoyed having your favorite one turned into a necklace on the ride back. Thank you for choosing Hubbard’s Marina for your Three Hour Shelling Cruise from John’s Pass in Madeira Beach. We appreciate the recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back for another cruise soon!
