Er is niets beter dan de magische kerstsfeer van Dresden te ervaren dan tijdens onze kleine groepsrondleiding (max. 8 personen), op slechts 2 uur rijden van Praag! Bezoek de oudste kerstmarkt van Duitsland, de beroemde Striezelmarkt, waar je 3 uur vrije tijd hebt om feestelijke kraampjes te verkennen, unieke souvenirs te kopen en te genieten van een gratis kopje traditionele Glühwein. Reis comfortabel in onze moderne minibus met gratis WiFi en geniet van een begeleide wandeltocht door het historische centrum van Dresden plus een heerlijke à la carte lunch. Uw Engels sprekende Gids leidt ook een wandeltocht door het historische centrum van Dresden, waarbij alle belangrijke hoogtepunten worden getoond. Een heerlijke à la carte lunch in een lokaal restaurant is inbegrepen. Op weg naar Dresden stoppen we in het Nationaal Park Saksisch Zwitserland, waar u over de iconische Basteibrug wandelt en een adembenemend uitzicht op het Elbezandsteengebergte bewondert. U bezoekt ook de ruïnes van een 12e-eeuws rotskasteel tijdens deze gemakkelijke, schilderachtige wandeling.

Uw Gids haalt u 's ochtends op bij uw hotel in Praag. Vanaf dat moment is het onze missie om ervoor te zorgen dat u alles heeft wat u nodig heeft om optimaal van de dagtrip te genieten. Terwijl we naar de Noordelijke Regio rijden (1,5 uur) in ons comfortabele, moderne busje met GRATIS WiFi. Uw Gids deelt inzichten over het nationale park, het Tsjechische en Duitse platteland en alles waar u tijdens de tocht naar uit kunt kijken.
De eerste stop is het prachtige Saksische Zwitserland National Park in Duitsland, beroemd om zijn dramatische zandsteenformaties, diepe beboste kloven en adembenemende panoramische uitzichtpunten. Hier verken je de iconische Basteibrug, met een onvergetelijk uitzicht over de rivier de Elbe en de omliggende rotstorens. Vanaf het begin van de tour zijn er gratis snacks en water beschikbaar om de hele dag van te genieten.
We stoppen midden in het nationale park Saksisch Zwitserland, waar je vanaf The Bastei de mooiste uitzichten over de Elbe-kloof kunt verkennen. Een gemakkelijke wandeling over deze beroemde zandstenen brug, een hoogtepunt van het nationale park, laat je ruïnes van het oude Neurathen-rotskasteel uit de 12e eeuw verkennen.
Geniet van een heerlijke à la Carte lunch in een lokaal restaurant, inbegrepen in uw tour (hoofdgerecht en drankje).
Uw lokale Engels sprekende Gids leidt een wandeltocht door de stad die alle belangrijke hoogtepunten aandoet.
De kerstmarkt van Dresden — plaatselijk bekend als de Striezelmarkt — is de oudste van Duitsland en een van de meest betoverende. De charmante houten kraampjes bieden alles van handgemaakte ornamenten en traditioneel speelgoed tot heerlijke feestelijke lekkernijen. Probeer zeker de beroemde Hefestriezel, een klassieke Duitse kersttaart die bij veel stands wordt verkocht. Met sprankelende decoraties, unieke souvenirs en talloze lekkernijen om te proeven, zult u genieten van het dwalen door deze magische markt. Geniet van uw vrije tijd en geniet van de feestelijke sfeer!
We brengen je rond 18.00 uur terug naar je hotel in Praag met je camera vol prachtige foto's, geweldige herinneringen en kerstcadeaus voor je dierbaren.

Vladimir was great. Knowledgeable. Flexible with time. Made the experience fun. Just an overall good dude. The Bastei bridge in the sandstone mountains was absolutely stunning. Sonnestein Castle gives a beautiful view of Pirna, a beautiful German village. Lunch there was incredible.....and our walk through Dresden was just jaw dropping. We HIGHLY recommend this trip.

Our guide Jirka was very friendly and accommodating! He’s also a great driver and makes sure everyone in the group is comfortable. The old stone bridge at Bastei is beautiful and not a difficult hike whatsoever. There are a lot of stairs with higher lookouts but you can choose to stay on the lower areas that aren't as much climbing and still have a great view. The main market was really cute and there were clusters of other outdoor vendors scattered within about a 15 minute walking area. There were plenty of food stalls and wares to browse- I enjoyed the Medieval themed market and it reminded me of a Ren Faire! We around walked around Dresden a bit first with Jirka pointing out some significant landmarks and giving us the history of them. Then we had time to shop around alone before heading back. Definitely a great option for a day trip if you are staying in Prague and have some time to bop around!

Jirka was a great guide, informative and caring about his group- always making sure people had water, looking for stragglers- so no one got left behind. Great driver, efficient with keeping on schedule- very personable young man. It was worth being able to go into Dresden for one day and seeing countryside of Saxon Switzerland. Mirek was the best tour guide ever( !!)taking us to the Dresden Christmas Market, the oldest in the world(!!). It was wonderful and our three young adult children all found unique finds, but what we enjoyed most was Mirek stopping in a small village on the way to Dresden, for lunch and the local Christmas Market in Pirna. I found a lovely German Pyramid there for 15 euros less than the Dresden market. Thank you Mirek for an awesome day for our family of five!!
