Ga op een boeiend avontuur door Nationaal Park Saksisch Zwitserland! Ontspan in onze comfortabele minibus met airconditioning en directe hotelophaalservice in Dresden. Terwijl we een schilderachtige rit maken langs de dramatische Elbe Canyon richting de iconische Basteibrug, zal uw Gids de verhalen en geheimen onthullen die deze regio zo onvergetelijk maken.
Het hoogtepunt van de ochtend is de wereldberoemde Basteibrug. Vanaf het uitkijkpunt hoog boven de Elbe Canyon geniet je van een panoramisch uitzicht dat ronduit spectaculair is — de perfecte plek om herinneringen en foto's vast te leggen om te koesteren.
Ons avontuur gaat verder voorbij de iconische Bastei-brug naar het prachtige fort van Neurathen, een boeiend zicht gelegen te midden van het zandstenen landschap. Bereid je voor om betoverd te worden door nog een prachtig perspectief op de Basteibrug en de omliggende vallei met bostheater. Vesting Neurathen biedt meer dan alleen panorama's. We duiken in het middeleeuwse tijdperk en verkennen de overblijfselen van het bolwerk waar ooit waakzame bewakers woonden. Maar dat is niet alles! Zet je schrap voor een fascinerende reis terug in de tijd terwijl we archeologische schatten ontdekken die dateren van 100 miljoen jaar geleden, toen de regio onder een uitgestrekte zee lag.
Nadat we de Basteibrug en het fort Neurathen hebben verkend, beginnen we aan een mooie rit door de Elbe River Canyon naar de Tsjechische kant van het Nationaal Park - Boheems Zwitserland. Onze route slingert zich een weg door charmante dorpjes als Bad Schandau en Hřensko, zodat u kunt genieten van de schoonheid van de architectuur van de regio. We zullen ook uitkijken naar de historische lift naar de uitkijktoren, een Guinness World Record-houder omdat hij de oudste lift in zijn soort is. We varen ook langs de Pravčická-poort, een natuurlijke zandstenen boog die wordt beschouwd als het iconische symbool van Boheems Zwitserland.
Nu moet je je batterijen opladen, dus de volgende stop is een traditioneel Tsjechisch en lokaal gerenommeerd restaurant. Een rijke lunch à la carte is een welkome en welverdiende beloning. Er worden traditionele Tsjechische en internationale gerechten geserveerd (inclusief vegetarische opties). We raden u ten zeerste aan Tsjechisch bier te proberen, dat een van de beste ter wereld is. Dit restaurant is erg populair bij de lokale bevolking en heeft de beste reputatie in Boheems Zwitserland. We zijn altijd van harte welkom in dit restaurant en we hebben een vooraf gereserveerde tafel op de beste plek die klaar staat voor onze aankomst. Daarnaast hebben wij een voordeel ten opzichte van andere gasten in de keuken, waardoor het wachten op eten aanzienlijk korter is.
(Niet beschikbaar in Winter tour) Geniet van een rustige boottocht langs de rivier Kamenice, waar torenhoge zandstenen muren en weelderig groen een sprookjesachtige omgeving creëren. Uw veerman zal fascinerende lokale legendes delen terwijl u door de smalle kloven drijft - een onvergetelijk hoogtepunt van het nationale park. Nadien brengt een korte bergopwaartse wandeling u terug, waarbij u beloond wordt met prachtige uitzichten op het bos.
Dompel jezelf onder in het labyrint van de Tisá Rocks, waar De Kronieken van Narnia werden gefilmd. De rotsstad met zijn vele torens, kleine pleintjes en mysterieuze hoekjes zal u overtuigen met zijn betoverende schoonheid. Iedereen die zich in de ingewanden van de rotsen waagt om te genieten van de buitengewone charme van natuurlijke schoonheid, wordt beloond met een prachtige ervaring. Daniel was our guide his English was very good and he was very kind. The hike was very intense for me but most of the group did great. It was a very steep incline for 15-30 minutes. The scenery was absolutely beautiful.

I highly recommend this tour. It was such a special day and a real highlight of my overseas trip. Milan & Dalibora were excellent and the national park was stunning. While I enjoyed all the museums, galleries and palaces I went to in my trip, getting out into such a beautiful unspoilt natural setting with such incredible views & history was something that I won’t forget. The river boat also was exceptional—and lots of fun—headed by a young guide who did a great job explaining the surrounding gorge area as well as keeping us entertained. And capped off by a beautiful lunch overlooking paddocks & mountains. It’s an easy drive over the border to Czechia from Dresden and well worth doing.

It was a nice break from all the cities I've been visiting. I did have leg/knee issue the night before and after reading the reviews, I opted out of the gorge/boat part. Glad I did as fully functional people had difficulty climbing out the steep incline! Barbara did a great job accommodating me and skipping the gorge. The guide didn't know very much other than what you could have freely read about on your own. Replied more times than not, "I don't really know". Driver was good and cheerful. It was expensive transportation mostly.

This truly was such a wonderful day. Milan & Dalibora were exceptional, friendly, informative & really made the day memorable. The sights we saw in Saxony Switzerland were incredible & every one of them was a highlight. The lunch was very good, with great views to the mountains. It was an excellent escape from museum days in Dresden. The tour itself is well organized, everything on time, food was good. All as advertised.Our guide Daniel and driver-guide Vojta showed us the best places being very polite, helpful and just nice young gentlemen. Many thanks to Daniel and Vojta. From our experience: this tour is challenging for seniors( we are 71 and 73 yo). It was slippery on the way up and down. It took us half an our to get down to the river, and a little more time to go up the steep hill. We are glad we did it and are proud of ourselves. So if you are reasonably fit we absolutely recommend this tour

Make sure you’re up for a couple of challenging hikes and dress correctly—good, nonslip shoes, rain gear if that’s in the forecast (I can’t imagine doing the hikes we did, if it had been raining—it was already slippery in dry weather), wear layers if it gets too hot (it did for us). Be prepared for a long day. The scenery was beyond amazing—very beautiful and so worth the long day. The drive from Dresden to the Czech Republic was lovely, so much to see. Our first stop at the Bastei Bridge, was spectacular—indescribably breathtaking views. Our lunch was really good, great menu choices and much needed after the second stop, where we made the steep hike down to the river canyon for the boat ride and the exhausting (for us) trip back up. The next and final stop to the “sandstone park” was really interesting—the grounds were once an ancient sea and the resulting sandstone formations were so unique due to weathering and the passage of time. This place was also a bit of a hike, slippery due to sand, rocks and fallen leaves—need to be aware, but it’s a truly enjoyable and like nothing I’ve ever seen. Our guides, Barbara & Milan, were very friendly and informative—we were impressed at their knowledge desire to create a memorable trip for us.

It was perfect, I recommend this to everyone. A super chauffeur and guide who really take care of you and help you with everything. They make sure everyone feels included, and I always felt safe and comfortable. Not only were they professional, but also very friendly and approachable. Honestly, it felt more like traveling with friends than just a tour. We visited amazing places I loved every second of it. Even the drive between the places is so amazing and beautiful.
