Deze tour is slechts een korte wandeling door geweldige buurten van Chicago, beginnend bij Navy Pier en de Magnificent Mile, en dan richting de Gold Coast & River North. Vergelijk twee Amerikaanse pizza's met twee Italiaanse pizza's om te begrijpen hoe pizza evolueerde als immigrantenvoedsel. Verken Deep Dish, Romeinse, Napolitaanse en ambachtelijke pizza's in slechts een paar uur. Bespreek hoe elk van deze stijlen is gemaakt en wat de verschillen zijn in hun ingrediënten, baktechnieken en ovens. Genoeg pizza om te eten, kom hongerig!

We zullen een groot deel van onze tijd doorbrengen met wandelen door River North en verschillende pizzeria's verkennen.
We zullen meer pizzeria's aan de andere kant van de rivier verkennen in de binnenstad van Chicago Loop
We zullen pizza's verkennen op Chicago's Magnificent Mile
We lopen langs de Holy Name Cathedral na een van onze pizzastops.

The last visit required a good deal of walking. The first stop delivered the best pizza I've ever eaten.
John had a vast knowledge and great relationship with the people at the places we went. He took us to 4 different pizzerias, each different styles. He checked for any food allergies and arranged the pizza orders accordingly. He knew so much about the origin of each of the restaurants and it was clear that there were more places we could have gone so we are considering doing it again!
You will not be disappointed, James had great energy, explained the history very well and had the best pizza ever.
This pizza tour was a blast. We were in a mixed group of families and singles and the guide James was hilarious and super informed and opinionated! We tried four different kinds of pizza including deep dish. The pacing was perfect— we all still had will to eat at the final stop.
James was personable and provided a mix of Chicago history along the story of Chicago pizza in its different styles.
We all loved this tour!. James was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the pizza, the restaurant owners, and the city. He was very engaging, funny and easy to talk with. This was a great way to get a sample of different types of Chicago pizza. We will definitely suggest this tour to all our friends who are visiting Chicago.
Jon was amazing and so passionate about pizza and Chicago history. He has been doing this for 16 years and it shows. It was such a good tour and I definitely got my fill of pizza for the trip. Highly recommend when you are in Chicago.
This is a cannot be missed and fun tour. The pizza was delicious and the variety was a learning experience. It was awesome to taste and learn about all the ways you can enjoy a pie.
Joe was a wonderfully knowledgeable host with a deep passion for all styles of pizza. We went to four unique and different places and ate a lot of outstanding pizza and learned much more than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend!
