Leant a lot in a fun way with Giulio! About Florence history, about the Cathedral and the surrounding buildings. Great experience
Amazing experience. We bought the ticket for the entrance to the Duomo and the Bell Tower. The climb is not for the lighthearted and is a bit challenging. The staircases are narrow, with small stairs. There are times where only one person at a time can pass. It is a long climb to the top, but extremely worth it. The view of Florence is amazing and you can get a great view from all the different sides. The inside of the Duomo is breathtaking and a site to behold. We spent approximately 2-3 hours to complete the tour.
While waiting in line for the Duomo to open could have been a total drag, Julio made it interesting and entertaining. There was much to learn and he did a good job of giving us info to remember.
we paid for skip the line but the ladies that were managing the tour kept insisting that our two tickets were not. I showed them the amount we paid but they stated our tickets were not skip the line.
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the ticket purchased does include skip-the-line access. However, the guest chose to participate in the guided tour. Access to the guided tour follows the museum's standard group entry procedures, which may involve waiting with the group before entering. Had the guest decided to use the ticket independently, they would have been able to benefit from the skip-the-line access included with their ticket. The service was provided as advertised, and we therefore do not believe a refund is justified.
Check the paper given for the time to go up the tower, and ours was for yesterday 😡 fortunately, I had my ticket with the Viator appointment time, and the guy let us in. It is important to know that there are very long lines for entry into the cathedral, and to respect the tower time. There are ascents every 15 minutes. The baptistery is under construction. They are renovating the ceiling.

As mentioned in the activity details, Cathedral access may require waiting due to mandatory security checks, and the Tower climb must be respected at the assigned timeslot. We booked this tour well in advance, arrived on time, and the initial tour staff person glanced at our tour confirmation, said she doesn’t have our names in her list and there are no more tickets, and there was nothing she could do. She then said we should come back another time (presumably hoping for better luck). This is the second tour with via Viator and local operators that are premium priced and sloppy in execution. Bad combination. Do not recommend.

Entry is only possible when guests are at the correct meeting point and checked in on time with the host. Unfortunately, if names are not found on the list at check-in, it usually indicates that the meeting point or timing was not correctly followed. We loved every minute of this experience. From the detailed artwork inside the cathedral to the incredible skyline views, everything felt magical. Just be ready for a bit of climbing—but it’s 100% worth it!
Florence was super crowded that day, so skipping the line helped a lot. Entry was right on time and well organized. The gallery has an amazing collection, even beyond David. Everything felt clear and easy. Great experience overall.
Everything about this ticket was simple. We arrived a bit early and still got in fast. No long lines or waiting around. The gallery was well organized and easy to explore. Seeing David in person was a real highlight of our trip.
I just showed my ticket, went through the entrance, and didn’t deal with any confusion. The gallery itself feels quiet and respectful, and you really get to appreciate the artwork. When I finally stood in front of David, it felt different than seeing it in photos. The size and details are unbelievable.
