There is no guarantee that...

There is no guarantee to see dolphins. The organizers are very careful not to stress the animals. They are very familiar with the different dolphin species and tell a lot about them. The speedboat is very pleasant.

Not bad, lovely crew.

Well it puts sightings of dolphins and whales and other cetaceans, we only saw dolphins, we were left wanting to see whales. But the lovely crew did.

Rollercoaster….🎢

Choppy sea, rough ride on the waves. Wife got really seasick. We all got wet sitting along the side. This was not necessary. We were cold the rest of the trip. No dolphins unfortunately. We understand that there is no guarantee. But the ride was quite uncomfortable. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. The swim in the end and the drinks completed the afternoon. Spectacul yes… more sort of fancy park attraction.

Poor Value,Impersonable & Over Marketed

The Crew etc are a lovely bunch of people, the boat is robust and we never felt overwhelmed or unsafe, the sheer size and bright yellow colour of the vessel was striking..unsure how ‘dolphin attracting!??’ The experience is not one of the cheapest available when looking for trips to explore the island and ocean I fully understand it’s not always possible to see wild dolphins in North Atlantic even if you go searching as we did (I think!?) The captain steering the vessel had us out on very choppy waters,he gained speed and we bounced off those waves! Some of the children onboard were showing they were frightened, one little girl was sick into a bag her Mum provided We were then “encouraged” to swim after an unsuccessful dolphin or whale viewing; the boat was anchored and the Captain played loud 1980s Rock Music through the speakers whilst some of us exited the vessel to take a cool dip! There was no direct connection between the crew and ‘us’ there was no communication about the ‘will we or won’t we see them’ for example and certainly no way I thought this was a pleasurable experience for myself & my husband; overall it could have been a little more personable On reflection,I can’t help thinking the whole idea was a tourist trap/fund raising exercise as the crew seemed well versed as to what to say at the start of the trip…re safety and disclaimer about the actual marketing plan of the trip ‘to see wild dolphins’ and again at the end wishing us a safe disembarkation N.B. I have seen school of dolphins in the wild, off the Gold Coast of Portugal where the boats were smaller (holding less tourists) and therefore more personable the crew interacted with the children onboard, including my own We had a lovely trip! And was truly a bonus actually seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat with minimal interference from a noisy, speedy vessel

Shambolic and poorly organised

Booked the trip via Zerger on the coast, she explained that we would pay deposit and then we would pay the remainder there would be on a two hour boat trip picked up at 9:45 am and back for 1 pm When we arrived at 9:40 am to be picked up and then we were held in a chew for over an hour waiting to pay the remainder in 30° heat with no shade before entering onto a boat with no shade it’s ridiculous that you have to pay a small deposit and then I made to wait an hour at the bay is boiling heat with everybody struggling to pay the balance on their cards, this is a poor business model Then we were offered a free drink but the catch was you had to pay one euro for a cup and when you went to pay with your card they Internet was not working out to see and therefore they wouldn’t give you the free drink which was another Paul business model we saw some dolphins which were over 100 m away and you needed eyes like binoculars to see them, It took an hour and a half to get there and an hour and a half back we over an hour late getting back to the bay and then they expected us to sit on a bus which will take over an hour 20 minutes to drop us back to our destination Whilst they cater for the masses the business model is pathetic outdated and doesn’t represent good value for your experience The boat itself was amazing and the music was amazing, but the rest was just shambolic from start to finish I hope this realises that in the end they will lose customers who will get wise to these tactics

Excursion anytime

Great trip with dolphin sightings and entertainment by the organizer; it can get wet as the boat travels fast

Great experience

Great trip, with Miguel and Nino as captain, both great - Miguel was very helpful and Nino knew all the right spots to find dolphins! We saw lots and lots of dolphins including three different types, as well as a turtle! The weather and timing were fortunate as well but they definitely went above and beyond!

Nice trip

Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins. But it was still a great boat trip with very friendly staff.

motorboat tour

We did this tour at 10 in the morning to try to see some animals and nothing was seen. They give you a big tour of the island and then let you swim in a small bend in the sea. The good thing is the attention of the staff to the people who are on the motorboat. The bad thing is that the stipulated schedule is not met. We left port at 10:15 and returned before 12.
