My partner and I booked the sunset dolphin watching tour and it turned out to be one of the most romantic experiences of our trip. The boat is small and intimate, which makes the whole experience feel much more personal compared to larger tours. The captain was professional, relaxed, and clearly passionate about what he do. As we headed out towards the open sea, the views of the coastline during sunset were absolutely stunning. And then, dolphins! Seeing them swim alongside the boat, completely free in the wild, was unforgettable. The captain kept a respectful distance while still allowing us to enjoy incredible views, which we really valued. The whole atmosphere was calm, beautiful, and just perfect for couples. Drinks on board and the golden sunset made it even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Pula!

Beware! Do not book with Pula Boat. Awful communication. I made a same day online booking (through Tripadvisor) for a sunset dolphin watching trip with Pula Boat. I fully accept it wasn't "confirmed", but equally I didn't receive a rejection or any other communication during the day. The information on the booking confirmed the departure time as 1700hrs and as we were visiting Pula anyway and having not heard anything we made our way to the marked location at the marina at 1615hrs, expecting to speak to staff well in advance of the tour. There was no sign of the company or staff anywhere. A few minutes after I received a cancellation notice from Pula Boat and with no one around, I messaged the number and the reply said that the tour had already left 5 minutes before (i.e. approx. 1625) and I was too late. I can confirm that I had already been at the quayside and there was no sign of any staff and certainly no boats had left, so I can only think that Pula Boat are lying. I suspect the tour was cancelled last minute because of a lack of other customers. Pula Boat made no attempt to apologise for the lack of communication during the day or try to arrange an alternative date and simply messaged me "hahaha". There are plenty of other companies out there so I suggest you use someone who is more reliable and treats customers with some care.

We booked private dolphin watching tour for two families. Cozy experience on the small boat and very kind captaun which shows full respect to the sea and wildlife, especially ti the dolphins.

Truly wonderful experience. We wanted a smaller boat trip and this was perfect, especially after seeing all the huge boats crammed with people. We had a really friendly captain who was respectful of the dolphins. We saw several dolphins and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Our kids each had a turn driving the boat and got a certificate when we finished, which they loved!

Upsides: - Chosen among others offers because of the size of the boat to get a more intimate experience on board (max 12 passagers plus skipper) - Friendly and interesting skipper - Saw some dolphins at a distance :) Downside, that the skipper/the company has no control on: - Many boats (certainly too many) in the same area, rushing all together at the same time as soon as dolphins are spotted, which creates an unpleasant "hunting experience"

this is so bad. false advertisment as not cared for dolphins protection. not necessarily operators fault but government. there are apparently no real laws. the dolphins are like hunted by 10 boats for almost an hour. this is not good for their natural behaviour and it was sad to see these sentient beings chased by boats false advertisment if you actully care about the dolphins leave them alone this is nothing that one should support. they were like chased out of the bay by the boats. mother dolphin & baby. only good thing they tun off their motor but only like a few meters in front of the dolphins. i felt horrible & it was so loud music on the boat and surroundings also lots of jetskis which disrupt dolphins. what a shame

Beautiful tour with beautiful pictures, dolphins seen at a distance. Boat is fine, drinks and melon delicious. Friendly captain. ( Busy with boats around the dolphins, but that had nothing to do with our trip. )

We went with 6 people on the boat to watch dolphins. It was indicated in advance that there is a chance that there will be no dolphins, unfortunately this was also the case. Escort does provide booze and watermelon for the road, sympathetic man.

A great excursion with skipper Florian! Towards the sunset, then it was time, the dolphins lined the boat, What a lasting experience!

Very nice ambiance, it felt like a very private and personal experience. Standing in complete contrast to all the other dolphin tours that are offered in the era. We as a group enjoyed our trip, with nice sights and very sympathetic guides. I highly recommend booking!!
