Onze eerste stop is een van de grootste en mooiste watervallen van het land, de Wachirathan-waterval. De kracht van deze waterval is meer dan 80 meter hoog en zorgt voor een verfrissende mist die de omliggende vegetatie voedt - en geeft je de meest opwindende gezichtsbehandeling van je leven!
Daarna gaan we naar de verbazingwekkende Sirithan-waterval. Deze prachtige cascade van 50 meter, gevoed door de Mae Klan-rivier vanaf de piek van Doi Inthanon, is perfect verborgen diep in het dennenbos. Volg een van de vele paden rond de indrukwekkende en krachtige watermassa; geniet van de koele spray terwijl je dichterbij kijkt, misschien zelfs een regenboog!
Vervolgens stoppen we bij de beroemde tweelingpagoden: de Napamatanee Don en Napaphon Bhumisiri. Gebouwd voor de Koninklijke Koning en Koningin, bevinden ze zich op het hoogste punt van Thailand, verrijkt met prachtige bloementuinen en Alpenrozen. Na een bezoek aan de koninklijke stoepa's stoppen we bij een restaurant om te tanken voor de lunch.
Na de lunch verbranden we al dat pad Thai met een beetje "mini-wandelen" op de Angka Nature Trail. Het pad is een 360 meter lang platformpad dat u door de bemoste rotsen van het nevelwoud voert. Daarna bezoeken we een Karen Tribe-locatie waar we een beetje leren over de cultuur en de manier van leven van de stammen, terwijl we hun dorp Sobhad verkennen. We zullen de dag afsluiten door ons te mengen met de mensen van de Hmong-stam in de hooglandmarkt, door de rijkdom aan fijn textiel, exotisch voedsel en lokaal handwerk te bladeren

Had an amazing day with our guide Nanna and our driver Bank. Nanna was informative and entertaining and showed us all the highlights of this area of Thailand. We really felt we saw a different side of Thailand on this trip and it was great to see a mix of rainforest, waterfalls, monuments and local tribes in one trip.
Wonderful, packed-full day of unique experiences. Nana was the best guide we could have had: knowledgeable, kind, and so funny. Wish we could have her be our guide for every activity we did in Thailand!!

Save your money. You spend 90% of the time in a van that handles poorly. First stop: Good scenery, but not worth it. They didn’t provide water as promised, only soda. Second stop: the guide explained nothing. By far the worst experience in Thailand. We felt ripped off. A completed wasted of time Disappointed with Civitatis. Never again.
