Bij de ingang van Rugova ligt het Patriarchaat van Peja. Het klooster is gelegen aan de rand van een oude Romeinse en Byzantijnse Siperant. Het kloostercomplex, bestaande uit vier kerken, waarvan drie kerken als één geheel met elkaar verbonden, werd gebouwd in het eerste derde deel van de 13e eeuw, 1321–24 en 1330 –37..Het wordt sinds 2003 beschermd door UNESCO en werd meer dan 300 jaar beschermd door een familie Rugova die de titel "voivode" droeg.
De Bajrakli-moskee is de belangrijkste moskee in het centrum van de Bazaar van Peja. Het werd in 1471 gebouwd door Sultan Fatih Mehmet Hani en is een moskee in Ottomaanse stijl met één koepel en de oudste en hoogste koepel van de stad.
Tahir Bey Inn, waar het Etnologisch Museum is gevestigd, introduceert nu een oud herenhuis uit de tweede helft van de 18e eeuw. Dit huis is ook heel interessant in termen van het behoud van de archaïsche elementen, waar het interieur bijna onaangetast is, en als gevolg daarvan is het huis een object van culturele betekenis, zowel in architectonisch als in etnologisch opzicht. Bovendien zijn er in het museum meer dan 120 tentoonstellingen die de cultuur en tradities van dit land illustreren.

Great introduction to Peja and the nature is very beautiful. The private transport was nice and effortless for us to just sit back and enjoy. We were glad we did not attempt to drive the small road in Ragova Canyon and by the cave. Recommend doing as soon as you arrive to the city.
Unforgettable trip! Everything was perfect, Esat was so nice and friendly, and gave great explanations. The trip is mixing culture, history and nature and I would recommend everybody to take it. Thank you Esat!
A very interesting and enriching tour. It brings you closer to Kosovo culture and the beautiful landscapes of the mountains.
Visar was a wonderful guide. Our bus was late arriving in Peje and so we missed our meeting point. A phone call to Visar enabled us to find each other. Visar was very flexible in allowing us to join the tour late and made a special effort to ensure that when the tour was over we arrived in time to catch the bus back to Prizren where we were staying. The tour itself was a very good mix of cultural and geographical sites in Peje - to get a good understanding of the history of Peje and the beauty of its surroundings I would highly recommend this tour and Visar the guide.

Visar was a truly amazing host . A very kind considerate host with an excellent knowledge of the area as he went to school and is a real local . Each part of the tour was exceptional . The water fall , mountains and caves were all unique experiences and it was nice to start off with a tour of the town . If you visit Peja you must do this tour and I guarantee it will be the high of the trip to Peja
