De wandel-stad tour route omvat de meest interessante bezienswaardigheden van het centrum van Boekarest, zoals: Revolution Square (Roemeens Atheneum, Koninklijk Paleis / Kunstmuseum, Centrale Universiteitsbibliotheek, Hoofdkwartier Communistische Partij), Victoriei Boulevard, Union Square (het winkelcentrum en de fonteinen), Parliament Palace (van een afstand gezien), University Square (Nationaal Theater, Intercontinentaal Hotel, Universiteitspaleis) en de levendige oude binnenstad (Lipscani gebied). Er is genoeg tijd voor fotostops, koffiepauzes of gewoon sit & rest wanneer je dat nodig hebt. Als privé tour garanderen wij flexibiliteit en persoonlijke service. De tour is overdag beschikbaar, maar ook ’s nachts, wanneer alle gebouwen mooi verlicht zijn.

Een van de meest karakteristieke gebouwen van Boekarest, die lijkt op een oude Griekse tempel.
De plaats waar de voormalige communistische president Ceausescu de laatste toespraak hield in 1989. We zullen u foto's en videopresentaties van de dagen van de revolutie laten zien.
De meest elegante laan in de stad, met grote gebouwen en monumenten langs de boulevard.
Gebouwd in eclectische stijl door de Franse architect Paul Gottereau met de sponsoring van koning Carol I, wiens ruiterstandbeeld we voor de bibliotheek kunnen zien, de constructie is een mijlpaal van de stad.
De winter koninklijke residentie van Roemeense koningen, gedateerd 1937. Het paleis werd gebouwd onder direct toezicht van de geliefde koningin Maria en haar zoon, koning Carol II.
Wandeltocht door het levendige gebied in het centrum van Boekarest, vol met cafés, pubs en restaurants, maar ook veel 19e-eeuwse architectuurgebouwen.
Een verborgen juweeltje in de oude binnenstad en een van de oudste kerken in Boekarest, daterend uit 1724.
De bouw van het beroemdste gebouw van Roemenië begon in 1984. Het Paleis van het Parlement is het zwaarste gebouw ter wereld en het op twee na grootste administratieve gebouw ter wereld. Ter vergelijking kan worden gezegd dat het gebouw met 2% het volume van de Grote Piramide van Gizeh in Egypte, en daarom wordt het bestempeld als een "faraonische" constructie. Bewonder de buitenkant van dit enorme gebouw en hoor het verhaal.

Manuela was lovely, very knowledgeable about Bucharest. Our walking tour took about 3 hours as she led us around the city, stopping to show us photos and videos and tell us interesting facts and stories about the places We even took a short trip on the metro which was fun and showed us another side to the city

Our 3-4 hour walking tour of Bucharest with Manuela was excellent. She’s very friendly,personable, well spoken, knowledgeable and informative. She comes prepared with photographs and other materials to display when describing certain historical buildings and events. Her pre-tour communication concerning pick up location and time was very clear and accurate .The tour is very organized and the pace is not rushed. Her pastry treat is a special added touch. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone interested in taking it. It’s definitely a learning experience and time well spent.
