Dingle Sea Safari - Rib boottocht in Dingle Bay

Excellent 2.5hour adventure out into the Dingle Harbour and open ocean, getting up close with the stunning cliffs, caves and rock formations, then off to see the Blasket Island Seal colony, and the marine and bird life. Great commentary on the history of Blasket Island, and a big effort to find us Minke Whales, Gannets plunging into the sea and dolphins competing with them for a feed of fish. Wet weather gear provided and full safety equipment and weather considerations prior to departure. Friendly team, absolutely recommended to see this stunning coastline and its fabulous marine life!

What a fantastic afternoon! The weather was overcast and rainy but the protective pants and jacket provided, meant the weather wasn’t a problem. We saw grey seals, minke whales, dolphins, gannets hunting and shags on the rocks. The tour around the cliffs and caves was beautiful. Our driver/ guide had a ton of local knowledge which really added to the experience. Definitely worth the time and money.

Absolutely amazing boat trip in Dingle! We were lucky enough to see dolphins and even a whale, which made the experience truly unforgettable. The scenery was spectacular, but the highlight was definitely seeing these incredible animals in their natural environment. A huge thank you to Kevin, our skipper, who was fantastic. We LOVED our experience on the Dingle Sea Safari!!! We rented a boat for our family of 10 (two sets of parents and 6 of our children, between 16-28). Our guide was Cian, an absolutely sweet local who graciously shared so his impressive knowledge about his home region and the ecosystem surrounding. We saw common and bottlenose dolphins, a minke whale, gray seals, tons of seabirds and the most amazing rock formations and caverns. We also saw the beautiful Blasket Islands and learned about their history. The ride on the boat was a thrill -- speedy and bumpy but totally doable for all ages. The seats on the boat are saddle style so you can stand when you go over bumps to ease the impact. The staff on land was insanely impressive -- outfitting our group of 10 (all of whom have VERY different body shapes and sizes) quickly and discretely and kindly. This is a first class operation and worth your investment and time. KUDOS! Can't wait to come back.

An extraordinary experience! A great driver, thank you Kevin for taking the time for us and for telling us about the Blasket Islands that you care so much about! Aside from that, we were lucky enough to see dozens of dolphins in several places and even minke whales twice! A memory that will remain etched! A great team as well, friendly and smiling!

An experience not to be missed at all! The means used are fantastic: the people are extraordinarily competent, friendly, and engaging. The stretch of sea covered is significant and we saw a great variety of marine fauna in their own habitat (dolphins, seals, seabirds and even a fin whale!) but that's not all. The beauty of the cliffs and certain particular rock formations is also unparalleled and impossible to appreciate unless you have this experience. It might seem expensive, but I would pay triple now just to do it.

We had the best day ever on the Sea Safari. The captain was incredibly knowledgeable about the ocean, and our boat skimmed across the water with just enough clearance to make it exciting. Everyone had a blast, and we even made it out to Great Blasket Island for the rough run. Truly unforgettable.

Just amazing. Our tour guide made sure we saw as much as we could, blessed enough to see two minke whales and nursery's of dolphins.

Our family of six went on the Sea Safari on August 15. It was incredible! Our guide, Colm, was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun! The scenery was beautiful and breathtaking. We saw seals, dolphins and whales! Highly recommend!
