Dhow Cruise-diner met entertainment

I've read many bad reviews of this dhow cruise experience. Really depends on which company's cruise you take if you book directly. We booked thru an agent, and it was not bad. The cruise itself showed the splendour of downtown Dubai and the skyscrapers, which looks like a concrete jungle. But I was blown away by the skyscrapers and views. The food was not that fantastic, but just okie. It's quite normal for such dinner cruises due to their food preparation space on board the boat. In my opinion, I still think the dowk cruise is a must-do in Dubai to admire the skyscrapers.

For a price of 50 Dollars per person we expected a solid dining experience in a festive atmosphere for our teenagers and us . But this was quite an awful experience. For the last part we dissolved into helpless laughter because the whole thing was simply ridiculous. Even though wasting 200 Dollars and one night isn’t a joke. Quite obviously, the management eked out the food whereever possible to maximize gainings. Complimentary welcome drinks were cheap sugary “juices” mixed with water. The worst was being tortured at huge volume (think Dance Club) with a chaotic melée of music through huge speakers of incredibly bad sound quality, the whole interspersed with random advertisements, unpredictable interruptions, back- and-forth changes and repetitions in the middle of the tracks throughout the cruise. (But: they turned down the volume a little bit when my husband asked, so at least it was possible to talk) Highlights: - hardly enough food to go around for all diners - watered-down hummus (soup-like) and yoghurt dip ( as liquid as milk) - knuckle-sized pieces of chicken breast were doled out 3 per person by chef personally - rice with veal had a very few bits of meat well buried. Chef came over to stir meat under even deaper - some dishes tasted pretty good, though, quality as such was not bad - entertainment progamme was subpar I could go on about the unprofessional and not very friendly waiting staff, the cheap uncomfortable chairs, the bent cutlery etc. but will leave it at that.

Views were amazing, food was ok. They ran out of orange juice and not notified there was dessert. Entertainment was good. Had prime seating on upper deck, excellent.

The evening dhow cruise in Dubai was truly the best. We were seated on the upper deck, offering us a breathtaking view from our table. We took numerous photos to capture the stunning scenery. Firstly, the location of the cruise ship itself is visually appealing and adds to the overall experience. Secondly, the cruise itself was excellent. The views were amazing, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the visit.

We had an amazing time on the dinner cruise. The services provided were excellent, and the crew on the boat was extremely polite and accommodating. On our last night in Dubai, we decided to embark on a Dhow Dinner Cruise from Pier 7 at the Dubai Marina, aboard the largest Tour Dubai Dhow. It was truly a wonderful experience. The dinner served was delicious, and the lively music perfectly complemented the breathtaking scenery around us.
