De Bloody Sunday Story Walking Tour wordt gefaciliteerd door een broer van een van de slachtoffers die die dag werd vermoord.Sommige van onze gidsen zijn ook locals die het bloedbad op Bloody Sunday hebben overleefd. Luister naar het verhaal van John, een van de mede-oprichters van de Bloody Sunday Justice Campaign, waar hij zijn kijk op de historische gebeurtenissen van de problemen naar voren zal brengen en hoe hij zelf rechtstreeks werd getroffen. De tour omvat het Civil Rights-tijdperk, Free Derry Corner, Battle of the Bogside, Bloody Sunday, het vredesproces en de Bogside-muurschilderingen. Deze tour begint buiten het Museum of Free Derry. Our guide, John, is a family member of one of the young men killed on Bloody Sunday. He has been advocating for justice and accountability for decades and shares the history through stories. Highly recommend both the tour and the museum. Super relevant for the times we are living in.

Absolutely superb! This gave me a much better understanding of Derry and Northern Ireland’s history than I have even managed to obtain before. Well worth the money, and a very powerful experience.
It was a cool, rainy day, but our guide did a fantastic job. He was thorough and detail oriented. He did not rush the tour because of the drizzle and mist and that was appreciated. The tour was a good experience and gave us a deeper perspective into the area and the Troubles.
Our Guide provided a great chronological history of the Troubles and also personal experiences from that time.

The tour was presented by the brother of one of the Bloody Sunday victims. He spoke with clarity, facts, and gave us a clear picture of what led up to the event, what happened that day, and the continued work for justice. He was humble and very relatable. It felt safe to ask questions. I would recommend this tour.
Our guide, the wonderful Mickey was just so knowledgeable and told us all about Bloody Sunday, having lived through it. This was the best tour we did in Northern Ireland. It didn't always make easy listening but we both have a far greater understanding of what happen on this day. Thank you Mickey so much.
