Aan de voet van de berg Parnassos ligt het Pan-Helleense heiligdom van Delphi, dat het beroemdste orakel van het oude Griekenland had. Delphi werd beschouwd als het centrum van de wereld Het heiligdom van Delphi, gelegen in een zeer spectaculair landschap, was eeuwenlang het culturele en religieuze centrum en symbool van eenheid voor de Helleense wereld. We vertrekken vroeg in de ochtend richting centraal Griekenland. Na 2 uur bereiken we de site van Delphi. Je hebt vrije tijd om de archeologische vindplaats, de tempels en het museum met zijn unieke vondsten zoals ons "Iniohos" te bezoeken. Je zult de grootsheid van de plek bewonderen en je zult de heiligheid voelen die uitstraalt. Daarna bezoeken we het beroemde en traditionele dorp Arachova, waar je vrije tijd hebt voor een lunch of koffie. Daarna nemen we de weg terug en in de middag zijn we weer bij u thuis.

We had a very interesting trip to Delphi. Our driver Chryssoula was very nice and it was a pleseant drive. She was informative and told us a lot about the area and country. Delphi was amazing and definitely worth the time and money. We can definitely recommend taking this trip.

The archaeological site was amazing and so well kept. The views from the site were fantastic. The only reason I have not given a higher rating was the long journey - three hours each way! I had not been aware of this when I booked the tour. However, the driver Marios was very helpful and pleasant. His knowledge of the local area and Delphi was huge. Thus helped to make the six hours on the road more enjoyable.

We were comfortable in the vehicle taking this trip. We appreciated our driver for taking us on roads that weren't familiar to us. It took a couple of hours to get there, but we enjoyed what we saw and learned a lot of history in Delphi. We recommend taking this trip.

If you love history don’t miss this place. One of the best in Greece. The location is marvelous, the site wonderful You can get a real idea about a Greece and Roman village.
