Wij halen u op en rijden vanuit Athene
Terwijl we rijden, zullen we vanaf de snelweg het Marathonmeer zien, waar de strijd tussen Athene en de Perzen in 490 v. Chr. plaatsvond
We maken een stop en wandelen in het skigebied Arachova
- archeologische vindplaats en museum. - Tempel van Athene, Tholos-monument - kastalia de heilige bron - gymzaal Bij Delphi mag ik je gids niet zijn, maar ik zal een boekengids geven en terwijl we 2 uur rijden, zal ik de mythen en historische gebeurtenissen in het oude Griekenland uitleggen, niet alleen voor Delphi, maar ook over religie, de onsterfelijkheid van de ziel met de Eleusinian mysteries, de cultuur en de wetenschappen.
Lunch in Delphi (niet inbegrepen) met prachtig uitzicht op de Delphi Riviera en de grootste vallei met olijfbomen in Griekenland.

we rijden door de berg naar het slagveld van Thermopylae
we zullen het slagveld van koning Leonidas bezoeken met 300 Spartanen tegen de Perzen: * Uitzicht op het slagveld vanaf de top van de berg *Oude hete poorten ^ Leonidas en 300 Spartanenmonument * Volledige gedetailleerde beschrijving van de strijd. *De Kolonos-heuvel is de plaats waar de laatste Spartaan stierf terwijl hij het dode lichaam van koning Leonidas beschermde.

Fantastic tour with Costas. Action packed day. We had limited time in Athens so this tour was perfect for a packed day. Corycian cave is a special experience. The views throughout were amazing but especially at the cave on top of the mountain. Great lunch and coffee breaks overlooking valleys and the Corinthian bay. Delphi was great too!
Visiting the cave of Corycian cave and learning about the history surrounding the cave . I also loved hearing about the interesting stories surrounding the lands on our way to the historical landmarks . Furthermore , I enjoyed the hike upwards towards The top of the Delphi Archaeological museum!
We toured Greece for 2 days with the owner of this company - Pan, and it was amazing. He organized to pick us up (with all of our luggage) at 7:30am when we departed our cruise ship, and created a unique itinerary for us to explore all of the sites in Athens over the next 8 hours. Then dropped us off at the door of our Airbnb at the end of the day. The next day Pan picked us up at our Airbnb, and we did the day-long tour of Delphi, Corycian Cave, Thermopalye and more. His knowledge of the historical sites is outstanding, and you can feel his passion for the history and mythology of Greece when he talks. The stop for lunch was one of the best meals that we had in Greece. Amazing views and even better food.
