Bezoek het beroemdste orakel uit de oudheid en voel je als een oude pelgrim die wacht op een eed van Pythia, maar wees voorzichtig, want het antwoord zit altijd in je ziel! Zo dachten de oude Grieken. Beklim een van de sites die door UNESCO worden beschermd en voel het ontzag over het landschap en het menselijke intellect!

Livadeia is een stad in centraal Griekenland. Het is de hoofdstad van het regionale district Boeotia, het ligt 90 km ten noordwesten van Athene.
We zullen op de hellingen van de berg Parnassus zijn voordat we Delphi bereiken.
Onze eerste stop is het klooster van Hosios Loukas, dat de tweede gouden eeuw van Byzantijnse kunst (11e -12e eeuw) vertegenwoordigt, met name de gouden mozaïekdecoratie en de mooie architectuur.
Delphi is een stad op de berg Parnassus in het zuiden van het vasteland van Griekenland. Het is de site van de 4e eeuw voor Christus. Tempel van Apollo, ooit de thuisbasis van een legendarisch orakel.
In het museum kun je de beroemde wagenmenner en het gouden ivoren beeld zien.
Riep het centrum van de wereld, Delphi was het beroemdste oude Griekse heiligdom met een Pan-Helleens karakter gewijd aan de God Apollo.
Een stop bij het dorp Arachova, Mykonos van de Winter, zoals de Atheners het noemen, voor schilderachtige foto's.
En daarna rijden we terug naar Athene.

Highly recommend everyone book this tour with Manos and Vasso. Our driver Manos was awesome, caring (kept asking if we needed water or a stop to take a break), and funny. And we are so glad we paid extra for an English speaking guide because Vasso made it well worth it. She was full of information and kept it interesting, my teens were engaged the whole time of the tour, never bored once! Love the place they recommended for lunch, perfect spot! Andreas took us on a private Athen and Poseidon tours. He also transferred us to the train station. He was so enjoyable and knowledgeable. He made us feel like family. After our first tour and throughout our trip he was contacting us with restaurant ,site seeing options and just making sure things were going well. When we arrived at the train station he insisted on escorting us in to make sure we found our train. It was a good thing. Our departure time had changed and we had not been notified there by missing our train. He rearranged tickets for our new departure,contacted our next hotel reservation, arranged to hold our bags and pick us up for our new departure. He went above and beyond. We were so thankful he was there for us making our trip just that more enjoyable. Greece we will be back and Andreas you will be our first choice! Thank you.

Four friends scheduled a full day tour to Delphi with a stop at a monastery along the way. We also paid extra for a private tour guide to walk us through Delphi museum and the ruins. Chris was a great driver and was very knowledgeable. He took us to a delicious restaurant with a wonderful view for lunch. Even with some car trouble on the way home, he made sure our safety was a priority. We made it back to our hotel safe and sound and even beat the traffic due to the delay!

Visited Delphi, our driver MANOS was spectacular. Safe driver, very knowledgeable, passion about Greece and loves sharing history and traditions. Very knowledgeable. Gave us the perfect amount of time to tour wherever we were, but he was flexible if we needed. Great recommendations for other day tours. Great food, local recommendations the usual tourist doesn’t get to see! Would highly recommend! MANOS was our driver for three days. Would definitely ask for him again when we return.
