Ophalen overal in Delhi/NCR, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad. Kies een ophaaltijd tussen 08.00 uur en 12.00 uur.
Je eerste stop is een bezoek aan Jama Masjid, de grootste moskee van India. Loop door de rode zandstenen binnenplaats, een bewijs van architectonische schoonheid. Gebouwd in 1656 met 5000 man personeel, grenst het trots aan het 'Rode Fort' te midden van de levendige omgeving van Chandni Chowk.
Kom samen met je gids in Sunheri Masjid en ontspan in de omhelzing van je tuk-tuk. Doorkruis de talloze levendige, bruisende bazaars in het oude Delhi, terwijl je gids de cruciale rol ontrafelt die deze markten vervullen bij het bedienen van de lokale bevolking.
Verken de beroemde specerijenmarkt in Chandni Chowk, waar je zintuigen als nooit tevoren worden ondergedompeld in de essentie van Indiase kruiden. Ontdek intrigerende feiten en de diverse toepassingen van deze specerijen.

Na een bezoek aan het Rode Fort rijd je langs de India Gate. Je maakt foto's van dit gebouw terwijl de gids je de historische achtergrond van dit gebouw uitlegt.
Nadat je India Gate hebt gezien, rijd je ook langs Parliament House. Je kunt foto's maken en doorgaan naar je volgende monument.
Na een bezoek aan de Humayun-tombe bezoekt u Qutub Minar. De Qutb Minar, ook wel gespeld als Qutub Minar, of Qutab Minar, is een minaret die deel uitmaakt van het Qutb-complex, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie in het Mehrauli-gebied van Delhi, India.
Na een bezoek aan Qutub Minar wacht u een bezoek aan de Lotustempel. Dit Bahá'í Huis van Aanbidding, dat op een bloem lijkt, werd in december 1986 ingewijd. Zijn kenmerkende vorm heeft het tot een prominente stadsattractie verheven.
Dit is optioneel Raj Ghat is een gedenkteken gewijd aan Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India. Oorspronkelijk was het de naam van een historische ghat in Old Delhi. Dichtbij, en ten oosten van Daryaganj, lag de Raj Ghat-poort van de ommuurde stad, die bij Raj Ghat uitkwam op de westelijke oever van de Yamuna-rivier. Later werd het herdenkingsgebied ook Raj Ghat genoemd.

It was very frustrating that the guide did not have our correct itinerary and kept trying to sell us on an extended day when we had already paid for it. For the first part of the day we wasted time as he thought we only had the half day booked even though we told him otherwise. He was not a good guide and I think he was a down right liar. We didn’t get to see the Qutb Minar as we should have earlier in the day if he had the correct itinerary. We got sick of his b.s and excuses. This tour was a joke and a horrible experience compared to our tour the next day in Jaipur where we actually followed the Viator itinerary. I would rate this tour experience -1 stars if I could. He eventually stopped at an ATM to pay us back for entry fees as we had prepaid those as well. I wish I had been warned on Viator about what we were going to experience as we would have booked elsewhere.
This was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. If you want to hit Delhi in a day, this is it!

I would definitely not try to navigate the Chadni Chowk market without a guide. Rashi was knowledgeable about Old Delhi and extremely helpful in navigating our car driver, Tuk Tuk driver, and taking us everywhere we requested in Old Delhi. Very thankful for her assistance and sharing her expertise.

We had a wonderful day with Shabbat. He was extremely polite and knowledgable. The car and driver were excellent. The Aircon was very effective. The rickshaw ride was exhilarating due to navigating through the chaotic streets of old Delhi. We sampled some good food and drink. The spice market was very interesting. Would highly recommend.
