Vertrek vanuit Le Havre naar Mont-Saint-Michel, reistijd 2.30 uur
Na aankomst op Mont-Saint-Michel zet onze chauffeur je af bij de officiële parkeerplaats bij de ingang van de site. Vanaf hier is de toegang tot het eiland uitsluitend te voet of via de officiële shuttles, met voertuigen verboden op de loopbrug. Een gratis pendelbus brengt je in ongeveer 20 minuten naar de voet van de Mont-Saint-Michel. Deze tocht is de perfecte gelegenheid om de veranderende landschappen van de baai te bewonderen voordat je het majestueuze eiland ontdekt.
Laat je na aankomst aan de voet van de Mont betoveren door de middeleeuwse sfeer van dit unieke UNESCO Werelderfgoeddorp. Hier zijn een paar suggesties om je te helpen het meeste uit je bezoek te halen: Bezoek de abdij van Mont-Saint-Michel, een meesterwerk van gotische architectuur. Het klooster, de refter en het panoramische uitzicht over de baai zijn zeker een bezoek waard. ️ Wandel door de geplaveide straten met winkeltjes, musea en kleine herbergen. De sfeer is magisch, een mix van legende en geschiedenis. Neem een gastronomische pauze: probeer de beroemde omelet van Mère Poulard of zeevruchtenspecialiteiten in een van de typische restaurants. De abdij van Mont-Saint-Michel, een juweel van middeleeuwse architectuur, is het historische en spirituele hart van het eiland. Op de terugweg neem je dezelfde pendelbus van de voet van het eiland naar de parkeerplaats. Je chauffeur wacht op je bij hetzelfde afgiftepunt, zodat je een comfortabele terugreis zonder wachten hebt.

Blijf vanaf de cruiseterminal in Le Havre of Honfleur op het terrein van de terminal, in de buurt van de hoofdingang, en loop niet weg. Onze chauffeur wacht u op met een bordje met uw naam of het logo van MyCruise Excursion. Het voertuig wordt geparkeerd op de nabijgelegen parkeerplaats die gereserveerd is voor privébestuurders, maar mag de terminal niet in. Er is een WhatsApp-groep opgezet voor je excursie om een goede coördinatie te garanderen. Download de WhatsApp-toepassing voor je aankomst. Als je geen mobiele internetverbinding hebt, informeer ons dan van tevoren per e-mail, zodat we een alternatief contact kunnen regelen. De vertrektijd kan worden aangepast aan logistieke beperkingen of wijzigingen in het schema van de cruise. Controleer de dag voor de excursie je e-mails of WhatsApp-berichten, waar een bevestiging of herinnering naartoe wordt gestuurd. Als je in een hotel verblijft, meld je dan bij de receptie op de tijd die is aangegeven in de herinnering die de dag ervoor is verstuurd. De chauffeur haalt je precies op dit punt op.

Guide did not speak English. Our tickets for the tour were 1 to 3 We had to be back at parking spot by 315. Line to tour was long and they did not share wee to get tour. There was another area for different tour. Guide should’ve parked or dropped us off closer to times were not conducive with time allotted for trip. It was a very expensive uber Guide should’ve shared info during drive. Worst tour I’ve ever taken.

While we provide transportation and entry tickets, guests explore Mont Saint-Michel at their own pace. That said, we absolutely understand how important it is for all details to be clear and accessible, especially for ticketed experiences with timed entry. Regarding the Abbey visit, it’s true that during peak times, the line to enter can be long, and it’s essential to arrive at the entrance well before the ticketed time, as delays caused by the shuttle, walking time from the parking area, or crowds can impact entry. Even arriving early to the general area may still lead to challenges if guests reach the Abbey entrance after the ticketed time slot. As for the drop-off point, due to logistical limitations and local regulations around Mont Saint-Michel, drop-offs must occur at the designated shuttle area. Unfortunately, vehicles are not allowed to go closer to the entrance unless pre-arranged for accessibility purposes. We had a very nice vehicle and an extremely accommodating driver (bathroom break and snacks stops)! This is strictly transportation to mont saint michel (ticket to abbey included) but extremely well coordinated and comfortable
