De mountainbiketocht begint vroeg in de ochtend 7.30 uur. Ga dan met het vervoer naar “La Cumbre” (1 uur van La Paz), dat is het startpunt. BESCHRIJVING VAN DE TOUR Etappe 1: Dit is een afdaling van 22 km over asfalt (geasfalteerde) weg. Bij de politiecontrole (na 45 min.) betalen alle toeristen Bs. 50 voor de ingang van het nationale park. Dit eerste deel is bedoeld om vertrouwen te ontwikkelen en aan de fiets te wennen. Maak je geen zorgen, de veiligheidsbus staat altijd achter de groep en we hebben stops voor water, foto's en fietscontroles. Etappe2: “Death Road” ongeveer 10 Km. altijd in een compacte groep (safety first!!!) en ook snacktime met chocolade, fruit en meer. Etappe 3: Ongeveer 32 Km. het begint met een waterval plons!! Eindelijk is het einde van de tour in Yolosa, dus de volgende stop is in een hotel met douches, een zwembad en ook een lunchbuffet. Om ongeveer 17.00 uur het is tijd om via de nieuwe weg terug te gaan naar La Paz. FIETS BESCHRIJVING: Fiets: Full suspension fiets met hydraulische schijfremmen.

We were instead of the promised small group of 6 then 9 people, the bikes had already many rides behind sight. The guides were absolutely great and prudent!! The tour is my highlight of life - just breathtakingly beautiful! Not suitable for inexperienced cyclists!!
Amazing adventure not to miss when in La Paz. Good communication before the tour to clarify some details, pick up exactly in time. Very good equipment, all safety measures were met. Had booked a shared tour, but were the only clients, so they run the tour as a privat tour without asking for a surcharge or trying to switch us to another day, very customer friendly. The tour guide Valdo did an excellent job introducing the material and well explained the different parts of the route, we always felt save. He and the driver Olli made all efforts to produce nice pictures and films of the tour, so we have nice memories. It was just perfect, it could not have been better, we always will remember this perfect day on the Death Road. Nice place to rest after the tour. No surprise, we can fully recommend Valdo and Olli and this company for the Death Road adventure. Try it out....!!!!!!
