Het schip blijft daar 1 uur en 15 minuten en als je wilt, kun je het kleine pad volgen om de top te bereiken waar de actieve kraters zich bevinden. Daar kun je foto's maken, de rotsen zien die nog roken en waar het sterk naar zwavel ruikt.
Na uw terugkeer naar het schip vertrekken we naar het eiland Palaia Kameni waar de warmwaterbronnen zich bevinden, de beroemde natuurlijke modderbaden, die zijn ontstaan na de vulkaanuitbarstingen. In de kleine baai van St.Nickolas varieert de watertemperatuur van 30 tot 35 graden Celsius, omdat het zich voortdurend vermengt met het normale zeewater. Het schip blijft hier ongeveer 30 minuten en u heeft de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen. Het is een hele tijd omdat er geen strand is, maar je moet de trap van de boot afdalen. Je moet ongeveer 30 meter zwemmen tot aan de binnenkant van de kleine baai van de Hot Springs.

Very good experience, enough time to explore the volcano trails and to swim in the hot springs. Good value for money Opportunity to buy drinks and snacks on board The organization at the port could perhaps be clearer, but I still recommend this tour

It was pleasant being on the water and getting a sea view of the beautiful Santorini Coast. The ship was comfortable and had plenty of shade. Based on the previous reviews we did not go in the water at the hot springs nor did we walk to the volcano.

A lovely day overall! Just to give a heads up on a couple of things though-the boat leaves from Fira OLD PORT. This means u can only get there by cable car (there may be a line), donkeys or the pathway that is 900 steps going down. Also bring shoes appropriate for hiking the trail at the volcano ex sneakers-there is loose rocks and it can be slippery. We had a wonderful time though-a unique experience!

Reservation for an excursion with a French-speaking guide. The guide only spoke English and was quite indifferent.

Unfortunately, on that specific day, our French-speaking guide was ill with pneumonia. In our effort to avoid canceling your excursion at the last minute, we sent a replacement guide who did not speak French well. We appreciate your understanding regarding this unexpected situation.
Overall, a very nice tour that is worth it; the staff is super nice and friendly. However, the advertisement states a maximum of. 50 people, and there were 130 on board. I generally find that unacceptable and it feels like a scam.

This was a great experience. We enjoyed this excursion. Although the swim to the hot springs was a bit chilly (we went in April) it was still fun. Don't wear a white swimsuit though as the sulfur in the water will turn it orange/brown. The volcano was interesting and our guide was great. I think he also spoke 10 different languages fairly well. Well done!
