Het beroemde Kanaal van Korinthe, bekend als Landengtekanaal 4mls lang 80 meter hoog, 27 meter breed. Koning Georgre begon de opgravingen in 1886 en eindigde uiteindelijk in 1996 na vele oorlogen in Griekenland. Paul passeerde daar omdat het bestaan van het kanaal 2.700 voor Christus was zonder de opgravingen. De Romeinen gebruikten om de binnenrollende boten over te brengen bossen. Geweldige plek voor foto's en bezoek.

Paulus vond daar in 51 na Christus Priscilla en Akila die Tends aan het maken waren. Hij bracht daar zijn overnachtingen door en je kunt de allereerste christelijke kerk zien. Van daaruit vertrok hij in 16 maanden naar Efessos.
Het oude Korinthe, het populairste dorp voor de Korintiërs en de Romeinen, met de tempel van Apollo, de tweede beroemdste tempel van Apollo, de eerste in Delphi. Het is 7.000 jaar oud, het dorp van het oude Korinthe en je kunt de tempel van Apollo, de Octavias-tempel (Ceasears-moeder), de Agora, het Orakel van Korinthe, de oude kerk van Paulus, het museum en nog veel meer bezoeken.

Nick was great and informative. Although he is not specifically a certified tour guide, he did give us all of the information in Corinth before sending us in to the stops. He said that this wasn’t a private guided tour. He is more of a driver/guide. Which was fine. We had a great time following the footsteps of Paul. Thank you, Nick!

We were picked up from our hotel minutes before the scheduled time. Constantine introduced himself and thanked us for taking this tour with him. He explained what we were going to do. On our journey to Corinth he described what we were driving by and about the geological areas and that was very interesting. We would have given a higher rating had we been able to have more of his attention. He was on the phone often during our trip. He took us to the planned stops and did a wonderful job of telling us what we were seeing and identifying different fruit trees and crops. The trip up to the top or Corinth was amazing. Beautiful views and a wonderful restaurant at the top where we had lunch. Truly wonderful place for lunch. Constantine was mindful of our steps and helped us get around. Very positive and upbeat!

Mr. Kostas was an outstanding tour guide! He arrived right on time and was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire tour. He made sure we understood the history behind every attraction we visited, and his passion for the subject made learning about the city of Corinth, Greece, truly exciting. His explanations were engaging, and he was always happy to answer questions and share interesting details that brought the history to life. I left the tour with a much deeper appreciation for Corinth and its rich heritage. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. We had a wonderful trip with Kostas. He was very knowledgeable of Biblical history as well as local and regional historical events and locations. Great time was had by all while traveling with family ranging from ages 20-70. One thing to note…bring water and a way to carry it while on the move (backpack). He provided water as needed but some of the stops were out of the vehicle for significant time so be smart and stay hydrated. Also, wear appropriate hiking/mobile attire. This trip was great to see some great Biblical locations and experience beautiful places not too far from Athens.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Corinth. We got to see so much of the new and old. The museum and ruins of the Old city include both classical Greek culture and the Apostle Paul’s time in Corinth. We ended our day at the castle and a wonderful lunch at the Castle restaurant beside the parking area. Well worth it!
