Er is de Valleys-optie die stopt bij Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle en Caerphilly Castle en er is de Swansea Bay-optie die stopt bij Rhossili Bay, Mumbles, Neath Abbey en Melin Court Waterfall. Gareth is de enige gids, dus er gaat maar één van deze trips per dag door. Controleer uw boeking om te zien welke trip u hebt geboekt. Het zijn beide tours van de Wandering Bard, maar de ene gaat naar Swansea Bay, terwijl de andere landinwaarts gaat naar de Valleys. Dit heeft in het verleden voor verwarring bij klanten gezorgd.

A really great tour for the price! We got to see Rhosilli Bay in the Gower and some wild horses running about there. Spend some time in Mumbles and catch a lifeboat race. Casually walk through the ruins of an ancient abbey, and even see a great waterfall! Gareth was a great guide - extremely personable (and a great sense of humor) and it was a real treat to have a local give this tour! He gave us a thorough background about South Wales, the history of different places we visited - and some British culture for us Yanks! He also was very thoughtful and communicative, coordinating pickups and dropoffs to work with everyone’s schedules.

We had a great day out in Wales with Gareth. We didn’t know much about Wales, he enthusiastically explained the history, the culture, the language which are unique to the area. He was kind and patient with the passengers, answering questions, offering water and Welsh cakes. He took us to a variety of places in 1 day - a beautiful waterfall, ruins of an abbey, Gower peninsula, Rhossili beach which was the highlight- it’s breathtaking, Mumbles on Swansea bay where we stopped for lunch. Highly recommend this group tour- comfortable van on a hot day. He also does custom tours.

This was an outstanding tour! Gareth was knowledgeable and patient. I learned so much from him on this trip to Swansea. We had an excellent balance of walking and driving to the next stop. The minibus was very comfortable and the ac was set at a comfortable level. Gareth also gave me a few ideas for the travel in the area. I loved the walk along the coast and returned to the same spot the next day to share what I had learned with my friends. Don't miss out!

The tour was amazing with Castles and nature that you don’t see very often. We had three stops and the time on each stop was perfectly balanced which meant that we also had time for lunch and other activities. The guide was great as well and had a lot of knowledge about almost anything you could ask about. We would totally recommend this tour!
