Dit is niet je typische bezoek aan Tequila... het is een meeslepende reis naar het hart van waar het allemaal begint. Ons avontuur begint direct op de velden om het leven van de geschoolde arbeiders achter elke grote tequila te ervaren. Je krijgt hands-on door je eigen agave te planten en te oogsten; gevolgd door een heerlijk, boerderijvers ontbijt midden in de blauwe agavevelden, vergezeld van je eerste tequilaproeverij van de dag, omgeven door prachtige landschappen en vriendelijke paarden. Vervolgens bezoeken we distilleerderij "El Tequileño", waar u getuige bent van het volledige maakproces, om af te sluiten met een begeleide proeverij onder leiding van een tequilameester, die Expert inzicht biedt in de smaken en het vakmanschap achter elke schenking. Om de ervaring af te ronden, wacht Casa Salles Hotel Boutique op u voor een kenmerkende cocktail en een gastronomische driegangenlunch. Maak je klaar om 8 verschillende uitdrukkingen van additiefvrije tequila te proeven; een echte smaak van Jalisco... authentiek, onvergetelijk en vol spirit.

Wij halen u op bij uw accommodatie, de rijtijd is ongeveer een uur. Dit is een privé-ervaring, dus we zullen niet meer mensen verzamelen.
We beginnen ons avontuur ondergedompeld in het hart van Mexico’s agaveland, en bezoeken uitgestrekte blauwe agavevelden om meer te leren over het leven en werk van een lokale dagloner. Je krijgt hands-on ervaring – het planten en zelfs oogsten van je eigen agaves onder begeleiding van doorgewinterde jimadores. Na een lonende ochtend op het land, sluiten we ons aan bij de boeren voor een welverdiend, heerlijk ontbijt gemaakt met verse, biologische ingrediënten rechtstreeks uit de regio. Als klap op de vuurpijl trappen we onze eerste tequilaproeverij af tussen de agaves, met het gezelschap van vriendelijke paarden en het adembenemende landschap om ons heen.
Aankomst bij distilleerderij “El Tequileño” om een van Mexico’s meest gerespecteerde tequilahuizen te proeven die al bijna 70 jaar op de markt is. We Gids u bij elke stap van de tequilaproductie, gevolgd door een exclusieve proeverij van hun selectie additiefvrije tequila's, integer vervaardigd met traditionele methoden en uitsluitend natuurlijke ingrediënten. Van de eerste slok tot de laatste slok leer je wat echte, hoogwaardige tequila onderscheidt – geen kunstmatige smaken, geen snelkoppelingen, alleen de pure expressie van blauwe agave en aloude distillatie.
Een boetiekhotel, Casa Salles is een luxe bestemming toevluchtsoord binnen een paar blokken van de magische stad Tequila. U geniet van een voortreffelijk driegangendiner in combinatie met de verfrissende cantaritococktail uit de regio, de perfecte manier om een ervaring af te ronden die u voor altijd zult koesteren.

Juan was an outstanding guide for the private tequila distillery tour. We were picked up at home, driven to the distillery and led through an informative and educational tour of the distillery. The tasting experience was exceptional. Juan has extensive knowledge of tequila production and food generally. We completed the tour with a lunch at a roadside restaurant with an amazing view (food was delicious also). 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for an outstanding, personalized and locally-owned and organized tour. Since the start of the trip to tequila they were very attentive, they had the knowledge and history of the places visited.
One of the best tours that I've done! We traveled to GDL from Texas to experience Mexico's culture. 1. Superb Customer Service: When inquiring about booking the Tequila tasting, our tour guide (Valeria) was very prompt and professional with her response. We weren't expecting our tour guide to speak English because we were in Mexico and wanted to immerse ourselves in the culture, but since she did, it was a nice bonus and we felt very special. 2. The ride/experience to Tequila Tour: When we were on the tour, it was about an hour's drive from Zapapon GDL, but it was scenic, calm, and informative. Our tour guides took out the time to get to know us and shared so much knowledge about the state of Jalisco that we were not privy to! 3. Tequila Tour: The Tequila tour itself was five stars - we were later told that our privy tour was a shared tour, which ended up being the best experience ever! The couple we completed the tour with was so welcoming we spent the majority of the tasting/eating portion getting to know them. We became connected with this couple and later had brunch with them (this is how welcoming and friendly the people are in GDL). Top 5 Highlights: 1. Food very delicious (especially the chicken breast and guacamole) 2. Tequila - I had enough Tequila for the rest of 2021, very authentic and tasty 3. Vibes - Our tour guides were so down to earth and friendly as well as the couple we shared the tour with. She provided water and snacks (added bonus) 4. Tequila Tasting - the tasting guide was very knowledgable and were generous on the tequila 5. Tequila Town - a whole vibe, beautiful crowd, markets/shops, culture If you are new to GDL or want to truly experience Mexican culture, this is the tour for you! We enjoyed it so much that we want to move here.
