Ontdek meer dan 450.000 vierkante meter crèmekleurige kalksteen die minutieus is ontdaan van as, loodstof en eeuwenlang opgehoopt vuil, waardoor de stijgende gewelven, dikke kolommen en hoge muren bijna verrassend helder zijn, roepend met hemels magnetisme. Bewonder en geniet van het vakmanschap van meer dan 2000 arbeiders en ambachtslieden uit heel Frankrijk die hebben bijgedragen aan de wederopbouw van de kathedraal. Ontdek de nieuwe liturgische meubels, zoals het altaar; gegluurd naar delicaat gebeeldhouwde scènes uit het leven van Christus. Bewonder sterren met bladgoud op een diepblauw plafond in een van de beschilderde zijkapellen; en kijk omhoog naar cherubijnen op de oculus, een ring van steen in het midden van de vier gewelven die de transeptkruising van de kathedraal vormen. Bewonder het middenschip van de kathedraal, dat is gerestaureerd en de basis vormt voor een van de meest spectaculaire architectonische meesterwerken die ooit zijn gebouwd.

Zowel overdekt als in de open lucht wordt de markt voornamelijk gevormd door paviljoens uit de jaren 1900 en wanneer open is een prachtig gezicht om van te genieten. * Deze markt is niet altijd open maar groepen zullen toch door het gebied lopen.
Gerechtsgebouw van Parijs 5 min Terwijl de tourgroep op het op het stadseiland Parijs gelegen “Ile de la Cité” staat, zien ze een van de oudste en meest prestigieuze officiële gebouwen van Parijs, het Palais de Justice. Reeds in de Romeinse tijd werd de site gebruikt als een plaats van bestuur, en dit voorbeeld werd gevolgd door de volgende Merovingische en Capetiaanse dynastieën, waarvan hun Gids een overzicht zal geven en tijd om foto's te nemen.
De Sainte-Chapelle is een koninklijke kapel in gotische stijl, in het middeleeuwse Palais de la Cité, de residentie van de koningen van Frankrijk tot de 14e eeuw, op het Île de la Cité in de rivier de Seine in Parijs, Frankrijk. De bouw begon ergens na 1238 en de kapel werd ingewijd op 26 april 1248. We komen later binnen met de mensen die deze optie hebben gekozen. Van 1840 tot 1843 om het onderste deel te consolideren en een wachthuis aan de voet ervan op te richten, tussen 1843 en 1848, vervolgens tussen 1860 en 1861, en herstelde het zijn middeleeuwse uiterlijk, vooral in de bovenste delen. De gewelfde kamer op de vierde verdieping, werd volledig gerestaureerd, net als de bovenste verdieping van de toren.
Oudste plein in Parijs gebouwd door Henri IV voor zijn 1e zoon. Waar de Frans een spelletje spelen dat hen zeer dierbaar is : la pétanque.

Our guide was 45 minutes late. We then had to race walk to Notre Dame to make our entrance ticket time. The tour itself was approximately 20 minutes instead of the advertised 45 minutes. Overall bad experience. Would not recommend.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, fun to be with, provided all sorts of interesting information regarding Notre Dame and the surrounding areas, answered all of our questions and prepared us for our independent tour inside the cathedral. When I booked this tour it was stated as skip-the-line and early access. It was neither. We waited in line over an hour, in the heat wave Paris was having. Itinerary had Sainte-Chapelle checked which I believed gave us access. It was not mentioned. Price was $698.60. I cannot recommend this tour.

We would like to clarify that, due to the immense popularity of Notre-Dame Cathedral following its reopening, all visitors are required to pass through the Cathedral's mandatory security screening, which is managed entirely by the Cathedral authorities. During the exceptional heatwave in Paris, visitor numbers were particularly high, resulting in longer-than-usual waiting times for everyone. Regarding Sainte-Chapelle, this attraction is offered as an optional upgrade and is clearly identified as such in our tour description. It is not included in the standard Notre-Dame & Île de la Cité Walking Tour. We appreciate that the delay caused by the security queue affected your enjoyment of the experience. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS TOUR COMPANY. Paid a lot of money for this tour and did not get what was expected. The tour guide did not speak English in an understandable way she kept mixing up past tense with present tense and the tour was not informative or enjoyable due to the language barrier. I reached out for a partial refund and they responded they would not issue a refund and made no attempt at addressing the poor service. The tour guide was also supposed to escort us to the next location which she did not. That was part of the agreement. She did not perform her service as expected as we paid for. She also ran over the anticipated length of the tour and was highly unprofessional in additional ways.
