Uw expeditie begint. We vertrekken vanuit de hoofdstad en laten het stedelijke landschap achter ons terwijl we rechtstreeks de opvallende, mythische vulkanische terreinen van Zuid-IJsland betreden.
Bewandel de letterlijke kloof tussen de Noord-Amerikaanse en Euraziatische tektonische platen. Een plek van diepe geologische verwondering en de historische geboorteplaats van Alþingi, het oude parlement van IJsland.
Een boutique stop bij een traditioneel familiebedrijf. Geniet van ambachtelijk, zelfgemaakt ijs en traktaties van boerderij tot tafel terwijl u het dagelijks leven van een authentieke IJslandse boerderij observeert.
Vereerd als ‘IJslands blauwste waterval’. Gevoed door de gletsjerrivier Brúará, biedt dit verborgen wonder een elektrische, onnatuurlijke cyaantint die het perfecte contrast vormt met de omringende donkere rots.
Doorkruis het dampende Haukadalur geothermische veld. Sta in afwachting van Strokkur, een zeer actieve geiser, die om de paar minuten kokend water tot 30 meter de lucht in blaast.

Een dramatische, onder de radar kloof waar de Hvítá rivier zich krachtig door gekartelde, donkere breccia rotspilaren wringt. Een paradijs voor landschapsfotografen die rust zoeken.
Sluit je reis af met een wandeling langs de rand van een 3000 jaar oude vulkanische krater. Het surrealistische contrast van het levendige saffiermeer met bloedrood vulkanisch gesteente laat een blijvende indruk achter van de rauwe schoonheid van IJsland.

We had a fantastic time in Iceland! Our guide was super laid-back and led us to the most beautiful waterfalls – even off the beaten tourist paths. You can just tell how knowledgeable he is. I would book this tour again.

The four of us booked the Golden Circle private day tour; one of our group has limited mobility; mostly uses a walker, but often requires a wheelchair. We contacted IceTransfer before booking to assure they would not be surprised by our needs and they were receptive and accommodating. We chose a van for this tour to allow room for the push wheelchair and walker, although an SUV would have been fine. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to without being a chatterbox. In short; someone we were comfortable spending an entire day with. Although the tour was scheduled for 8 hours, he was flexible in allowing us to take the time that we felt we needed to enjoy each sight completely at our leisure; so we never felt rushed, and the tour actually was just over 9 hours. He even took it upon himself to push the wheelchair during those times when a hill became a little too much for us (special thanks to him for that!). IceTransfer made the Golden Circle the perfect activity for our last full day in Iceland; each of the sights is well worth lingering on, including the dairy farm and tomato farm restaurant stops! We hope to make it back to Iceland to see more of its natural wonders! When we do, we’ll definitely take advantage of IceTransfer’s other private day tour offerings including the airport transfer from Keflavik.

Hello. We chose icetransfer to tour Iceland Golden Circle, as well as other small excursions... Like the blue Lagoon and others... It was really an extraordinary experience for us. Hassan is an extremely nice man who does not count his hours who was very good advice and chose us extraordinary restaurants where we could eat whale and sheep meat of exceptional quality... The tour we chose to take with him for the day, he served as our guide and he really lived up to both his explanations and to show us the most beautiful places for unforgettable photos. He stayed with us all day, they explained to us how to live in Iceland both economically and socially and artistically... He knows a lot about a lot of different subjects... We never get bored with him. He waited for us to go shopping, he waited for us to do our photos and our excursions. He never looked at his watch, and he was really taking care of us. He brought us to a farm where we tasted an artisanal ice cream made from the milk of the farm's cows, and he's the only one offering this Service. And of course, he transported us to the airport... He is very punctual, very helpful, the quality of his services is excellent. I recommend it all the more because at the price level, it is very affordable compared to its competitors.
