Vancouver's bekroonde fietstour is leuk voor het hele gezin! Ontdek waar geschiedenis, natuur en avontuur tot leven komen in het ware hart van Stanley Park. Deze tour is de perfecte mix van trail rijden en zeedijk cruisen in een gemakkelijk tempo geschikt voor gezinnen. Als je kinderen van 1 jaar en ouder hebt, is dit de beste manier om het hart van Vancouver te ervaren en te genieten van een onvergetelijk avontuur van een halve dag. Je gaat mee met andere families terwijl we over beschermde fietspaden rijden, waarbij je genoeg stops maakt zodat niemand te moe wordt. Als je kinderen een beetje hulp nodig hebben om bij te blijven, geen probleem – we bieden kindertrailers en Trail-a-Bikes aan, zodat iedereen zonder stress mee kan doen en is ontworpen met gezinnen in gedachten! We houden een speelpleinpauze voor de kinderen, lekker ijs (of iets dergelijks) bij de Totempalen, het iconische Meisje in een Wetsuit-beeld en zelfs de Beaver Lodge bij Beaver Lake. Het is de perfecte manier om de dag buiten door te brengen, herinneringen te creëren en geweldige plekken in de stad te ontdekken.

Onze tour rijdt over dit geweldige fietspad, onderdeel van het langste ononderbroken fietspad aan zeezijde ter wereld
Trap over de zeewering naar de vrolijke bronzen beelden voor een geweldige foto-op. Ga verder langs English Bay naar Second Beach speeltuin waar het hele gezin kan spelen met een geweldig uitzicht op het water.
Ga verder rond het park om populaire bezienswaardigheden te zien, zoals Meisje in een Wetsuit, Lions Gate Bridge, Brockton Lighthouse en meer. Geniet van de schoonheid van North en West Vancouver en de North Shore bergketen. Rustig aan en haal diep adem terwijl we met onze fietsen door het gematigde regenwoud naar een verborgen ecologisch juweeltje lopen: een meer met een actieve beverhut! Dit prachtige gebied is een favoriete stop van onze gasten en gidsen. Houd je ogen open voor lokale wilde dieren. Ga onder torenhoge oude bomen staan en leer over de houtkapgeschiedenis van het park en andere gebeurtenissen die dit stedelijke regenwoud hebben gevormd. Misschien kun je zelfs een arendennest spotten!
Zie kleurrijke inheemse kunstwerken en leer meer over de Coast Salish mensen, samen met de geschiedenis van de Totempalen & Welkom Gateways. Krijg een geweldig uitzicht op de skyline van Vancouver terwijl u geniet van een zoete traktatie
Fiets langs Lost Lagoon, rijd langs de Coal Harbour waterkant en zwaai naar de watervliegtuigen boven je. Vaar op het thuistraject onder het indrukwekkende woondak van 6 hectare van het Convention Centre.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending 5 hours on a guided cycling tour with Mark from Cycle City, and it honestly felt like the time flew by. Mark’s passion for history and storytelling is truly inspiring. From the very start, he created a warm and engaging atmosphere. He took the time to explain so much—not only about Vancouver’s landmarks, but also about the city’s Indigenous history and the importance of reconciliation. My daughter (14) absolutely loved it. His thoughtful insights into Asian history and its deep influence on Vancouver added another rich layer to the experience. Mark managed to blend historical facts, cultural context, and personal stories in a way that kept us fascinated from start to finish. The 5 hours passed in what felt like minutes, and we walked away with a much deeper appreciation for the city and its diverse heritage. We loved it!!!

Alexs was an amazing guide. We had a young group of kids- ages 12, 10 and 7 along with another family with little kids, it was very accessible for all of the kids. The pace was perfect, we made fun stops, and there was a good amount of information, but not too much. It was a wonderful way to see and experience the city. Would totally do it again! Thank you!
