De geest van de extreem rijke excentrieke Betty Brown zwerft voor altijd door de elegante zalen van Ashton Villa. Velen hebben Betty gezien in een turquoise jurk en het dragen van een waaier tijdens overdadige evenement gehouden in het herenhuis. Zelfs de dood kan Betty er niet van weerhouden het leven van het feest te zijn...en de gasten halfdood te laten schrikken.
Een van de meer dan 200 historische markeringen op het eiland, dit is de voormalige residentie van Olga Samaroff, waarvan bekend is dat ze nog steeds in het huis spookt tot op de dag van vandaag.

Slechts één persoon vond het ooit leuk om in de Normandy Inn te wonen en dat was de man die Satanisme naar het eiland bracht. Een week na de bouw sprong een jonge jongen uit het raam... EN LEEFDE. Op de vraag waarom hij zoiets deed, antwoordde hij: “Iets kwaads zou mij doden”. Nu is The Normandy Inn een bedevaartsoord geworden voor degenen die voodoo, zwarte magie, satanisme en heksenambacht beoefenen. Vele offerrituelen hebben hier plaatsgevonden, waaronder... EEN MENS! Tot op de dag van vandaag wordt het nog steeds gebruikt als portaal.
Veel gasten van dit hotel hebben verhalen verteld over een eenzame dame die door de gangen dwaalde, sommigen hadden zelfs volledige gesprekken met haar. Maar 's morgens, beseffend dat ze helemaal nooit heeft bestaan!

Awesome spooky time with lady Salem!
Our tour guid Thomas was knowledge and entertaining
lady saelynn was such a great tour guide and she made everything so fun! highly recommend.
Our guide, The Lady in Black (Annette) was awesome! You can tell that she is knowledgeable and passionate about her job and preserving the history of the families in those cemeteries. She offered very insightful information about what life was like for many of the people buried there in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The guides are awesome and share crazy stories about true crime, island lore, and the 1900 Storm. Walking past giant, dark Victorian mansions at night gives you absolute goosebumps. It’s a flat, easy walk under a mile. Plus, it's totally dog- and kid-friendly.
Fun tour! They give you bug spray and water before the tour. Lady Saelym was my tour guide. Fantastic energy, creative outfit, interesting and engaging stories and she was equipped with all sorts of ghost detection tools-EMFs and mirrors and a find the scary thing search and pictures of ghosts from previous tours. I enjoyed this tour and I recommend!

We attend a lot of ghost tours. Nearly every city we visit we try to get on a ghost tour. This one was one of the best. The stories and evidence of spirits that Melissa provided were so good! The Great Galvez is a stunning hotel and being able to walk through it was so cool! The tour length was great - it felt very thorough and not rushed. The group we were with was a great size however there were small children who were clearly bored with all the stories - I wouldn't recommend you bring your young kids on this tour. Melissa handled this with grace and kept the tour flowing nicely. Great spooky stories, evidence and opportunities to take pics and try to capture your own evidence. We got a great pic of a spirit!
