Deze ervaring wordt verzorgd door een privé-local. Tijdens deze 2 uur durende wandeling krijg je de verborgen pareltjes van Zürich te zien. De eerste bestemming is een geheime tunnel uit de middeleeuwen, die achter een bijna onzichtbare en gesloten deur ligt. Het is zo onopvallend dat de meeste mensen die al jaren in Zürich wonen er niets van merken of er iets van weten. Je bezoekt de enige overblijfselen van de stadsmuur uit de 13e eeuw met de eerste waterleidingen van de stad, die zijn verborgen en opgesloten in de kelder van een modern gebouw. Je avontuur gaat door een verborgen deur op de grond van een beroemd parkgebied, waar duizenden mensen elke dag langskomen zonder op de hoogte te zijn van deze deur. Je klimt naar beneden om de historische muren van een Romeins fort en van het koninklijk paleis uit de middeleeuwen te vinden!

Tour was great. Douglas was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We saw some really cool areas of the city that you can’t see on you own.

Our guide was pleasant but not particularly knowledgeable about even basics such as the name of the rivers feeding Lake Zurich. If there were secret doors of Zurich, we did not have any opened for us. We walked around the old city without much direction. We learned more about Zurich after the tour looking up our unanswered questions.

Although our guide was very sweet, we really gained little to no information about the history doors or details/stories about Zurich’s history. The secret doors showed the water aqua ducts, sewer system and Roman baths. Our guide was flipping through printed notes about each of our stops and would read directly from those notes, and we actually gleaned more information by using our own Google Translate to read the signage inside the doors. We definitely did not get our money’s worth, as this tour was not even worth close to $100 per person. I had chosen this tour because I wanted to have a more personal experience in a small group, and were hoping to gain some insight into the history of Zurich. Overall we left disappointed and not knowing much more about the history of Zurich.

We experienced 3 of the 5 secret doors with David. He's also doing history tours so we had that also. Need to be more explicit on length of the walking in your description
