Ontdek de authentieke smaken van de historische westkant van Praag met een foodtour met kleine groepen in de buurt van de Praagse Burcht. In tegenstelling tot de meeste tours, voert deze ervaring je door Hradčany (het kasteeldistrict) en Malá Strana (de kleine wijk) — charmante buurten gevuld met kleine, lokale plekjes die ondanks de toeristische boom hun mannetje hebben gestaan. Onder leiding van een gepassioneerde lokale Gids biedt deze tour meer dan alleen proeverijen. Terwijl u bergafwaarts loopt door geplaveide straatjes en binnenplaatsen, hoort u verhalen over de bedrijven die u bezoekt — en leert u hoe de Tsjechische keuken zich ontwikkelde door eeuwenlange landelijke traditie, Oostenrijks-Hongaarse invloed en lokale creativiteit. We ontmoeten elkaar en beginnen in de wijk Lesser Town - een van de meest historische wijken van Praag. Na de welkome verrassing maken we een korte tramrit om heuvelopwaarts rond het kasteel te komen.
Betreed het katholieke klooster dat in 1140 werd gesticht en stop hier in de plaatselijke brouwerij voor een goed voorproefje van de regionale voorgerechten. We houden ook van het lokale bier.
We genieten van het prachtige Bellavista panorama en wandelen door de Castle District.
Proef Tsjechische klassiekers direct buiten de Praagse Burcht (of we hebben een alternatieve stop voor het geval deze gesloten wordt voor privé-evenementen), terwijl de gids je alles vertelt over de traditionele Tsjechische keuken.
Vervolgens lopen we over het "Royal Path" en eten we stukjes Tsjechisch streetfood in een populair restaurant van de lokale bevolking.
Wandel door de wijk "Little Quarter" naar het Kampa Island gebied, om lokale zoetigheden te proeven met nog een drankje.

We are so glad we booked this tour. Our guide, Erik, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and great to talk with. We very much enjoyed learning about the food, a little history, and some general tips for our trip in Prague. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a great food tour!
We did the castle side food tour, and while we did have some traditional Czech foods, there was a lot of interesting ones as well. But, what really made the tour was our guide, Vito. He was very personable and the conversation made the difference. Definitely recommend !

Sabastian was excellent. We tried many delicious items and Sebastian was happy to answer questions we had about the food and area. We were also taken to a beautiful lookout for pictures.
This tour perfectly showed and was explained so well by our guide, Jakub, to my American husband why I love my country so much! Jakub took us to hidden gems that ordinary tourists don’t see. The small group was nice and the pub and restaurant we stopped at were excellent!

We had an incredible experience on this Prague food tour! Even though this wasn’t our first time visiting the city, our guide David made it feel completely fresh and new. His knowledge was outstanding and it wasn’t just about the food, but also the history, culture, and hidden corners of Prague that we would have never discovered on our own. As a family of four, we really appreciated how engaging and well-paced the tour was. David kept everyone interested, and we learned so many new things while enjoying some amazing local dishes. The stops were unique, not the typical tourist spots, which made the whole experience feel much more authentic. Highly recommend this tour to both first-time visitors and those who think they’ve already seen Prague. There’s always more to discover!
It’s great as it goes up to the monastery, you have a lovely view and it’s much calmer than the bustling old town. We loved the different sorts of food and the size of the portions, only little food waste bit enough for everyone. Vitek is very knowledgeable and passionate about history, and knows great gems.
