Stel je voor dat je kajakt in het kristalheldere water rond het meest oostelijke punt van Australië en dolfijnen, bultruggen (van mei tot oktober) en schildpadden spot. Deze kajaktocht is geschikt voor de meeste fitnessniveaus, is gemakkelijk en erg leuk! We beginnen aan onze zeekajaktocht vanaf Clarke's Beach in Byron Bay, peddelend over de baai richting Cape Byron. Bij Wategos Beach, net onder de historische vuurtoren van Cape Byron, bevindt zich een residentiële groep Pacifische tuimelaardolfijnen. We gaan hun leefgebied binnen en hebben meestal het voorrecht om deze prachtige zeezoogdieren vrij van gevangenschap in hun eigen omgeving te zien. Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay is eigendom van en wordt geëxploiteerd door Kurt Tutt, een lokale levensredder voor surfen op de lange termijn en wereldtitel Surf Ski-medaillewinnaar. Onze medewerkers zijn allemaal getrainde Surf Lifesavers en zullen goed voor je zorgen.

- Let op: we lopen elk jaar tussen oktober en april de NSW-zomertijd
- Laat ons personeel bij het inchecken op de hoogte zijn van eventuele medische voorwaarden. U doet dit vertrouwelijk door ons vrijwaringformulier in te vullen bij het inchecken
- Niet aanbevolen voor mensen met fobieën, slechte lichamelijke conditie of chronische lage rugletsel
- Moeder Natuur dicteert de dag - elke dag is anders in de baai, we zullen ons best doen om alle soorten dieren in het wild voor je te vinden.
- Mochten de omstandigheden gevaarlijk zijn: we voeren verschillende keren per dag risicobeoordelingen van omstandigheden uit. Als de oceaan te gevaarlijk is voor zaken als slingerwinden, stingers of grote branding, zullen we contact met u opnemen om te annuleren. In dit geval heeft u recht op een volledige terugbetaling, geen zorgen dat wij uw geld niet opnemen. Soms ben je gewoon beter af als je niet gaat dan als je daar bent in onnodig gevaar
- We doen de tochten in de regen, je wordt sowieso nat, of het nu zonnig is of regent.
- In de winter hebben we wetsuits voor je om aan te trekken voor de tour om je warm te houden
- We gebruiken Tandem (2 personen) Sit on Top Kayaks
- Er zijn geen terugbetalingen of gratis swaps beschikbaar voor wie te laat aankomt. In de zomer draaien we op NSW zomertijd, QLD draait niet op deze tijd
- Niet aanbevolen voor mensen die last hebben van waterfobieën

This was a fantastic kayak adventure. We were lucky enough to come close to a whale and to see pods of dolphins super close. Pete and Dylan were excellent guides, they were encouraging and informative. I’ll never forget this experience, it was magical. Highly recommended

I went on a kayak tour with 'Go Sea Kayak' and they were fantastic. It was myself and my 5 yr old daughter, who they looked out for so kindly. We were offered either a kayak to ourselves, or jump on with Bo, one of the guides which we went for. He was super knowledgeable, and very reassuring in the wavey parts. My daughter loved it, and it was so special floating nearby the pod of dolphins and turtle-spotting. We even saw a whale passing on the horizon. Many thanks to Pete, Bo and the team for taking us out, we had a blast!

Amazing experienced guides. Beautiful waters and scenery. While we did not see any marine life as we had hoped, the paddle itself was rewarding and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Pete, Dylan, Cooper and Siobhan were awesome.

Great fun exploring the bay of Byron Bay, we got to see dolphins which was amazing. The guides were great and really helped us.

Booked this in advance. Got super lucky with the sea state and was super calm. Meant for super easy paddling. Probably should have gotten there 15-30 minutes before the scheduled time as was the last to arrive. The kit was all good. The guides were great. Good Comms. Good banter. Hearded the group well without being upset. We had a small 8 kayak ish group. I was with Laurie who had done the trip Friday but not seen much and had a rebook. A quick brief and we were underway. Great mix between getting some distance done and resting/watching for sea life. A few turtle heads spotted early in the distance. Paddled around the corner to spot multiple small pods of dolphins. This started an hour or excellent encounters some 10ft away some 50ft. Guides were great at slowly getting close without spooking and the group were all well behaved and didn't chase. Stopped for a swim on the way back. Lost a few pairs of glasses between the group. Happy people all round.

Awesome experience. Saw dolphins and a turtle. The dolphins even swam right under the boat - really cool. The guides were great too, funny as anything and informative too. Would highly recommend!

Outstanding tour!!! Kayaking out to watch dolphins was an amazing experience. Additionally, Byron Bay was really picturesque location. The guides really made it the complete package with their humor and informative discussion about the dolphins in the bay.

An amazing adventure across the waves at main beach Byron Bay! having never done sea kayaking before our 2 guides made us feel relaxed and excited about the trip and had so much information and stories to tell. A bargain for 2 1/2 hours taking in the fabulous views from the ocean across to Mt Warning (Wollumbin) and the coast of Bungalung country, out to Julian rocks and Wategoes Beach what a treat ! We really enjoyed the song with our guides that brings the dolphins and whales to us that the local Arakwal custodians have shared with them., We saw rays skim across the water and a very inquisitive turtle and lots of fish .A small group created a really lovely atmosphere and great for making new friends .Celebrating my 70th birthday with my daughter was just magical and the guides made sure we were safe and supported . Don't miss out on experiencing Byron from the water I highly recommend this trip! and can't wait to go again during the whaling season.

It’s an out and back be ready to. Arty your boats and stink a little after using the equipment like it’s been wet and not completely dry.
